You won’t regret staying at the Ziva SJ Del Cabo. We stayed for a romantic getaway while our kids went to summer camp. We stayed 7 years ago and travel to Mexico often to all inclusive. This absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. The improvements to the rooms, restaurants, service, activities… it all was to perfection. We found the club lounge not helpful because the service and availability of restaurants and food was already so great. However the personal concierge and amazing service and trim down service for our club suite was worth it! They helped make our time away one of our favorites. The resort is clean, staff so incredibly friendly, and is very close to downtown San Jose Del Cabo. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Overall an excellent experience with a few minor quirks. I don't have a basis for comparison as it was our first time staying at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico.

Great property. But club level Luis Miguel made the experience worth it. Constantly communication. Solid professional customer service. Ask for him at booking. My two cents and I don’t review.

The resort is nice and well maintained. My Master King from was cleaned well daily, and I had enough towels, washcloths, water, etc daily. It's actually a very nice sized room. Pools are well maintained, but pool bars close at 6, even though the pool closes at 8. Many times, they would start cleaning before it was even 6:30, and took our towels and drinks before we were done with them. The food was OK. Bom Vivant was our favorite. Everything was amazing there...however the breakfast buffet was just ok. The other restaurants were just ok as well. Drinks seemed to be watered down and not the best quality. There were many things that if you wanted better quality (i.e. tequila, fresh coconut, etc), you had to pay extra for it. The Spa was amazing.

I booked on Expedia and upon check in was not given the level of room I paid for despite my receipt. The manager told me that because I booked on a third party site that Hyatt does not recognize the same room level categories and they would not honor the “club level” I paid for. Not too much you can do once you are there. I would suggest stay at another hotel in Cabo, it will be less expensive and they will want to welcome you to their hotel.
