The pool manager was by far the most helpful and supportive customer care there! The spa was amazing in the fitness center as well worth it. Concierge and reservation department are horrible to work with.
Hyatt Ziva needs improvements to keep the Hyatt Brand name.

I tried Hyatt Ziva expecting that it was going to be significantly better than Riu and Grand Fiesta. It was not. Overall, Grand Fiesta was still better in everything. Hyatt Ziva food is slightly better than Riu. Being a World of Hyatt member and going to Hyatt Ziva does not feel special as compared to non members. The award for being a member was being acknowledged that I am a member at check in.

Deisi restaurant manager, the best hospitality and a great worker. Please take care of her and make sure she stays for a long time.
The best all-inclusive experience we've had in San Jose del Cabo

Hyatt Ziva has been on our bucket list for a while. When we finally had a chance to visit, it greatly surpassed our expectations! The Kids Club was the particular highlight of our stay (big shoutout to Calli and the entire team!) -- it was available for the entire day and evening (6 to 9pm), and our kiddo did a wide range of activities and made a lot of new friends. We'll definitely be back!
Pleasant resort

We were at the resort Christmas and New Year's. It was very busy. We were very lucky that the adult pool was not too busy, so you did not have to be at the pool early to get chairs. If you wanted seats at the regular pool, you had to be out pretty early. You also had to eat pretty early if you did not want a wait of an hour or more. Drink service at the pool was excellent. Drinks overall were terrific. Waiters went out of their way to take care of you. Rooms were very spacious. The set up with the shower attached to the tub was a bit awkward. The mini bar in the room had beer and soda and juice. Snacks were limited. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were provided. The hair dryer was decent. Bed and pillows were comfortable. We enjoyed many of the restaurants especially Baja Grill, Mahika (Indian), and Gozo (Asian). The waiters were well trained to take care of allergies. Menus often warned about dietary specifics such as gluten. Overall you will enjoy your stay at this hotel.
