Located on the tip of the breathtaking Baja Peninsula, this beachfront resort features spacious accommodations, superb facilities and dining. Visit Zen Spa for a revitalizing massage or lounge by the lagoon-style pools while the children enjoy the splash deck.
We are a family with two teenage children - one in high school, one in college. We spent a whole week at this resort. If you like lounging by the pool by day and seeing a show after dinner at night, the Ziva is a great choice. Fun add ons we did were a day at the spa and renting a cabana on the beach and a pool palapa. The on-site restaurants can accommodate most dietary restrictions, which I thought was very thoughtful. Some restaurants were fantastic and others were good, but not great. Maria’s taco stand was probably my favorite followed by the steakhouse. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The poolside cafe’s shrimp tacos were excellent.
We were on the club level and it was wonderful to have our end room mini bar and snack bar replenished each day according to how we liked it. Definitely with worth paying a little extra for that perk. Overall can recommend the Hyatt Ziva for an all inclusive resort option.
Great Service and Good Food

The reasons I am giving 4 instead of 5 is that our room could have been cleaner, we had no hot water in afternoon/evening and the resort could use a little TLC. The employees were all so nice and readily available. They made up our room every day when asked. Saul at swim up bar was great as well as pool servers. Restaurants had plenty of staff and were always at your service. We were surprised at how good the food was for an all inclusive. Bummer that the beer selection was minimal. Family loved the tacos from adult pool and quesadillas from cart. It was busy, but didn't feel over crowded. Never had to wait to get into a restaurant and pool chairs were available. Wasn't sure what to expect but we were not disappointed!
