Amazing experience

Diego C on Nov 30, 2025

Amazing experience. Staff is very good at helping you get what you need, Luis was the best help we could get. Food was out of this world. Only thing I'd recommend is: wifi connection is very bad and the shower floor gets flooded, other than that, everything else was just perfect!

Our favorite relaxing and hospitable beach resort

Pat C on Nov 29, 2025

An excellent all inclusive hotel on the San Jose beach. Great location, walkable to arts district. Very relaxed atmosphere All staff, no matter the role are friendly and helpful. A single kitchen provides a range of foods with nightly themes. The lounge is relaxed and friendly with excellent live local entertainment mariachi and marimba. An energetic and enthusiastic activity coordinator works really hard to give you a fun experience We’ve stayed 3 times, others have returned up to 8 or more times. Nice mix of local and north American and guests from Europe We plan on returning again.

1st time in Cabo

Georgina W on Nov 28, 2025

Great 1st time experience overall. Pool is cold. Food is great. Drinks are cold. Services were great. We don't tip daily and because of that, our services got less and less. This unfortunately determines our end gratuity and review. Otherwise overall a good experience.

A quiet visit

90duncanm (London, Canada) on Nov 27, 2025

First, I want to point out that my visit wasn't typical for myself or the other guests at the hotel. I normally choose more active vacations (kayaking, biking, snorkelling, etc.) but this time I wanted a quiet vacation where I could do some writing. Other guests were more into sunbathing and less into exercise than me. This hotel was ideal for me for this trip. I had an all-inclusive plan, so I didn't need to think about finding good restaurant meals. I could just sit in my room (which was well lit and comfortable), or the hotel lobby or at the pool bar and work. When I needed a break from working for some exercise I could swim in the pool or go for a walk down the beach or over to the trail in the estuary eco-preserve. The staff were friendly; not all were fluent in English, but we made do. The buffet meals were good, with some variety in what was served. The pork and chicken were the best meats; fish was kind of dull, seafood was mixed. (The shrimp were excellent.) I had only two complaints about my room. The water in the bathroom only got hot on one day, but in a warm climate a lukewarm show is okay. And one very minor thing: the toilet seat was installed so that it wouldn't stay up. Peeing while standing up was a challenge.

Great place but needs to heat their pool.

Ron M (Monterey County, California) on Nov 22, 2025

Staff was excellent. Virtually every staff member was super friendly and helpful. This includes the waitstaff, bartenders, front desk etc. Older complex but well cared for. The only reason that I didn't give it five stars is the the pool wasn't heated. This is not the first time that it has been that way. We visited a year ago and it was not heated them. At that time we were told that the solar heating was broken and would soon be fixed. A year later the pool was still unheated. This is despite the fact that the hotel's website claims a heated pool.
