From Me To You

I’ve been coming here on and off for 20 years, fishing . I’m not looking for anything special, the quieter the better. I’m always treated like family and looked after by Urbano and all the staff. Everyone is wonderful and if I left something behind I got it back next day. Room was cleaned every day. The food was great, great service and clean dining area. Drinks were perfect, beach bar boys excellent. Gardens were beautiful and worked on every day. I don’t speak Spanish, mostly Mexican national here at this time, I managed just fine, or some one would translate, thx. Times are tough, I caught a Marlin and brought all the meat back to the Hotel to cook for supper for everyone. I got mucho appreciation next days. Thx Urbano and staff. I’ll be back.
Forbidden, go anywhere else.

Amazing Place, Beautiful View, Perfect Weather, Lovely Ocean… but awful service from all the employees. They treat me, with disrespect and racism, because I did not look like an american stereotype. The lady at front desk, instructed me, I have to pay for water, coffee, food, before I touch it. And 2 waiters, even fallowed me at the restaurant to be sure I paid. They charge an extra $328.48, for Cleaning Service, but, will Clean the room ONLY once a week. They also suggest, if the service and food, was to expensive for me, I could go to somewhere else, cheaper. The beach, was forbidden, for me, she says I could get a taxi, for $300pesitos, can take me to a ‘beach, where I can have fun’. Ah, and, there was little bugs in bed and in the table at restaurant, point it to the waiter, and he reply, ‘Oh yea, they are everywhere’.. Do not go there, there are a lot of places around, similar price and service, but much more better service.
Excellent experience

I always have a great time here. This is my 3rd time visiting in the last 6 months. It’s clean, the rooms are well kept, and the food is good. Thank you to Sele in the dining area for polite and prompt service. I will be back!
NO WIFI
UMgirl (NYC) on May 18, 2026
Where do I begin. First there is no internet. They say they have wifi but it doesn’t work (see pic). We could not work there so we had no choice but to leave. This was on a Monday and they said there was no manager on duty. The second big issue is the bed. Hard as a rock and just 3 smaller pillows!!!! We didn’t try the food or drinks as we were only there for less than an hour trying to get the wifi to work. If there had been internet we would have stayed. Our balcony view was a partial ocean view and was very nice. The ac worked great too. The pool and beach area looked very nice. It is unfortunate they advertised wifi and that we had to work otherwise we would have dealt with the very hard bed. The all inclusive deal was a good value if the internet had worked. We ended up moving to Krystal Grand for only $50 more and while the food was not great the room and pool were amazing. I was only refunded one night which is not acceptable as I did not stay (on property for less than 1 hour) and they advertised something they did not have! I cannot recommend staying here.

This property is an older one and indicative of the region before all the resorts took over. Rooms are in need of a refurbishment and the concierge was insistent on a meeting to announce a new property they are debuting. I was not pleased with the insitance of a meeting right as I was checking in, as it was a lot of questions that i wasnt interested in. The breakfast buffet was very nice and walking the beach in the morning was a pleasant experience
