Absolutely Disgusted – This Hotel RUINED Our Trip and Should Be Ashamed I honestly cannot believe this hotel is allowed to operate the way it does. I have never written a TripAdvisor review in my life, but this experience has been so unbelievably horrible, disgusting, and unacceptable that I feel like I HAVE to warn other families before they make the mistake of staying here. From beginning to end, this has been a nightmare. Service: The service is appalling. Staff are dismissive, uncaring, and act like guests are a burden. Our experience with Gerardo at the front desk was beyond frustrating and honestly heartbreaking. We explained that our reservation app wasn’t working and we needed help because we had kids who needed to eat. Instead of helping, he gave attitude and coldly told us “it’s past 4pm, there’s nothing I can do.” No empathy. No effort. No compassion. Just complete indifference. Food & Health: The food here is not only terrible, it’s concerning. Every single person in my family got sick with diarrhea after eating here. That alone should be enough to tell you the quality we’re dealing with. The buffet food is cold, not even warm. The food looks and tastes nasty at every restaurant. By day three we were so disgusted and fed up that we started eating outside the hotel just to survive. And to top it off, I ordered room service soup for my sick daughter hoping to comfort her… and they delivered the soup ICE COLD. The rice in the soup wasn’t even breaking down because of how cold it was. As a parent, that was beyond infuriating and heartbreaking. Ridiculous Staffing & Chaos: Every single food station is severely understaffed. They have ONE person working each station. The pizza station literally had over 50 people waiting for pizza with ONE person making them. Watching families stand in long lines for basic food is ridiculous and unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that claims to be “quality.” Basic Comfort Doesn’t Exist: Even basic things like hot water are a challenge. The water is freezing, and when you ask them to fix it, they simply don’t care and don’t do anything. This has been one of the worst travel experiences of our lives. Instead of enjoying our vacation, we’ve been stressed, ignored, sick, and completely disgusted by the lack of care, quality, and humanity here. We came to relax. Instead, this place ruined our trip. I would never stay here again and I strongly warn any families considering this place — do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. Guys I promise you I do not write anyone bad reviews. Don’t come here!!!!!!!!!!

The location is convenient. Nice views with kind staff, Omar was the best funny and does a nice job. The room service was very good and we got a lot of it. The bar staff was excellent and Paola was a great concierge.

Omar is so amazing he’s the best doorman ever!!! Give him a 500 dollar raise. He’s the best person ever. Thank you to everyone and to the bartenders. It’s the best place!

OK, Omar is most excellent! Mucho information information for the total resort and was extremely helpful. He helped us upgrade our room and made our stay very enjoyable.

We absolutely love Alejo at the Zai restaurant at Royal Solaris in San Jose Del Cabo! He is a 5 star waiter!! Always one step ahead! We felt spoiled!!??
