My family stayed at Royal Solaris Los Cabos from May 30 through June 5, 2026, and unfortunately it was one of the worst resort experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, customer service was disappointing. We repeatedly asked for assistance with the resort app, which was required to make restaurant reservations, order food, and access various resort services. The app was not functioning properly for us, and rather than helping resolve the issue, staff repeatedly told us to figure it out ourselves. As a result, we were unable to make reservations at several of the all-inclusive restaurants and missed out on amenities we had paid for. We also requested assistance with our room television, which was entirely in Spanish and would not connect to our Apple devices. We were told someone could fix it the following week—after our stay would already be over. The children’s pool was visibly dirty, with sediment and debris present in the water. We did not feel comfortable allowing our children to use it due to the unsanitary conditions. One of the most frustrating issues was the lack of bottled water. Multiple times we requested bottled water and were told to simply drink the tap water. As international travelers, we were understandably uncomfortable doing so. We ultimately had to leave the resort and purchase bottled water elsewhere. The food quality throughout the resort was also extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, less than 24 hours after returning home, multiple members of our family became violently ill with vomiting and gastrointestinal symptoms. What was most concerning was the complete lack of urgency and concern from staff whenever we needed assistance. During our stay, we experienced a significant earthquake. Traveling with two small children, we understandably asked a staff member what we should do. The employee simply shrugged and walked away without providing any guidance or reassurance. That response was shocking and completely unacceptable from a hospitality and safety standpoint. By June 2, our family was already discussing leaving early because we were so disappointed with the overall experience. Between the poor customer service, inability to access resort amenities, unsanitary conditions, lack of bottled water, poor food quality, and staff’s unwillingness to assist guests, this stay fell dramatically short of the standards we would expect from a resort that markets itself as a luxury all-inclusive destination. We cannot recommend Royal Solaris Los Cabos based on our experience and feel the resort should take responsibility for the significant issues we encountered throughout our stay.

Omar was great to work with. Customer service is his middle name. He is always so helpful. Muchas gracias to all of the Royal Solaris staff in San Jose del Cabo. They are truly our Mexican family.
