Great staff

I wasn't sure what to expect from this trip when my friends invited me using his membership. You read good things and bad things from comments. The property is ok and our rooms were fantastic. The food is VERY good at the Zai and Pancho. The drinks at the members bars turned into a experience with Tamayo's skills. The best was the service of the staff. People like Socoro, Matias, Lupita and many more. There is however one man among the staff who stands above the rest due to his versatility, Anthuan. This man is beyond exceptional. He performed a smooth check-in, booked all our dinners, and then 20 minutes later he's bringing snacks/drinks, and then he's changing our towels for new ones. He performs several different roles and positions at a high level of performance at the same time. Our dinners at Marco Polo were fantastic. The staff is very kind and smiley! Panchos taco night was delicious. More taco nights! The only complain: The big jacuzzi takes forever to be ready and you have to request it in advance and the water doesn't stay warm. At the members pool bar Socoro took good care of us and she remembered our drinks! The check out process made inside our room was a pleasant surprise. (Anthuan you're the man).
One stop resort for all, I keep coming back.

Guillermo Memo was our excellent, friendly Adult Pool waiter, at Royal Solaris, Los Cabos!!! He, Louis, Manuel, and the bartenders kept us hydrated, and entertained. The food was good. The room was nice. The pool was nice and the entertainment shows were fun to watch. Thank you.
Spa

On vacation took advantage of the spa, booked a 50 minute Swedish massage, to get in a little more relaxation. Monce was the therapist. She did a great job, checking in often about my comfort. I highly recommend her services and would definitely book with her again.
Buyer Beware: A Disappointing Stay from Start to Finish

Where do I start? This hotel has pleasant hardworking staff. But there is a failure around every corner. The airconditioning would quit working every night around 2 AM so we woke up everynight sweating to death. The shower head leaked and the sink area was clean, but stained through years of use with no updating with pock marks. The bed side tables are also stained from being used and not updated. So they look dirty and have started to delaminate. If you wanted the sliding glass door to stay shut you needed to lock it or it gaped and wouldn't completely close. Throughout the hotel they pumped a smell that reminded me of Glade plug ins that are full of neurotoxins so I sneezed when walking through the main lobby. Ok, the food, we were informed at check in that since we were staying three nights we could only have one reservation at a restaurant and the only availability that they had was at 8:30PM. We eat early and typically turn in around 9PM so that wouldn't work for us. The other nights we were expected to eat at the buffet. Oh, dear, that was a disaster. Flies all over the food. When I returned to the table with hot food, there was no silverware. When I asked for a fork, I was told I had to wait. I think they don't have enough silverware, it was being washed, so when it came, my food was cold. The buffet had budget food and most if it was inedible. The lettuce wasn't properly washed and full of dirt and the meat had bones in it, even in the tacos. The fruit wasn't ripe and was often sour. So we opted to eat out. So we were not thrilled. And then we got a note under the door to go to the concierge for a gift. Maybe there was some redemption, so we went only to find out that we could only have a gift if we listened to their timeshare spiel. The woman became rude when we refused to listen to this sales pitch. Hell, no. We don't recommend this place and will never be back. Buyer beware. Two thumbs down.
