Security Harassment & Botched Excursion

We stayed at the Royal Solaris for my 40th birthday and overall it was lackluster. Highlights were they decorated my room upon arrival which included a very yummy birthday cake. The host at the Japanese restaurant was also amazing and went out of his way to make our dining experience memorable. Pain points include inconsistency in enforcing the mask policy but consistent security harassment. To the point where every time we stepped out on the patio, security was there watching us. Very uncomfortable. A miscommunication on behalf of the in-house travel agency caused us to miss our van to parasailing. We were given written instructions to look for Cabo Adventures when it was actually Cabo Expeditions that was our transportation. I waited outside at the stated time but the van driver for Cabo Expeditions didn't bother to ask my name or excursion and ended up leaving us. We had to find our own transportation to parasailing and the Manager was unhelpful and frankly very rude. We got a discount on our excursion but not without struggle. He seemed unapologetic for his mistake and only talked about what it would cost him for the missed ride. Very unprofessional. Overall the staff was rude and dismissive of our requests. They only take dinner reservations from 9 am-3 pm but we would leave daily at 8 am for excursions leaving us unable to book a restaurant for dinner and ultimately left with the buffet or room service. I would never stay here again and most definitely would not ever consider being a member.

Lack of Customer Service & Food

So, there were 24 of us for a family vacation. 4 children ages 10, 11, 12 and 12. I will start with the front desk: the 2 twelve year old kids received 2 different bands. When they went to ride the slide 1 was told he had to ride with the other 12 year old because she had a jr wristband whereas his was just a kid band. Went to front desk and was told it didnt matter and would not change the bands. Needless to say this disappointed the one child because he could not ride without her and she didnt enjoy the slide so didnt want to go again. So now I have to deal with a disappointed kid for 4 additional days. Food...extremely disappointing buffet. My room service was better. Please learn how to cook well done hamburgers at lunch. When we checked in we asked for a speciality resturuant for the 24 even if different tables just wanted to have speciality dinner together. I was personally told we could get 2 tables for 7pm the next evening but we needed to meet with Francisco at 10am next day. The next day he sends word with a family member to come at 11. 11:30 still no Francisco so I went to the desk myself and spoke to who Fransico claims to have spoken to and of course she cant accomodate us with 2 different tables at any speciality. So we went off the resort and had much better food for all 24 of us for lunch the next day. However the 3rd day 12 of us got a table and guess what? Another table behind us seated 12 and it was empty along with 3 additional tables that sat 4 each...so why couldnt we have been accommodated? Oh well.....the rooms are decent, not much entertainment during the day like other resorts. In fact we didnt even have wait staff approach us until our final day for drinks at the pool. I totally understand the people in lobby want to sell tineahare and thats hiw they make money. My uncle was going to liaten and take one for the team but they wantes a credit card...flag on the play so our conceriege ignored us the rest of the time we were there lol....I will return to Los Cabo but not this resort. I know alot of travel agents and involved in alot of travel groups all have asked for my recommendation and I cant say I would recommend Royal Solaris. The customer service, the constant sales pitches, more day time interactive entertainment, and food would have to change drastically.

Don’t expect a lot bc service is not consistent. Average. You can still enjoy just don’t be picky. Pretty hotel grounds.

Grounds plsnt, need lots patience here. Tacos/paella party ??, servers mtvtd by tips, not consistent. Rm srvc & hskpng tell you yes will bring water/towels to your rm , but after 3X call, no show. They lie. Don’t expect a lot & you’ll have fun.!

Master Graduation Trip

Alberto Vargas Ave limo Lopez omar Brito amazing service bell boys and yazmin rousmarinous restaurant . It was an amazing time and will definitely visit again . I recommend 10/10 bring your family and friends!
