Absolutely the best vacation place I’ve ever been too. The luxurious and spacious rooms. The tons of restaurants. The shuttles to other locations. Watching the haul of fish come in and the pelicans being fed. The bed actually had more than two pillows. Yolanda and Manuel in LeMarina made every meal a delight. Antonio for pizza night down on the patio. Emilia for making sure all of our bookings were correct. Dante down at the pool playing fun games. I did one week. Next year it will be two. Thanks for the most amazing vacation ever.

The staff in every department are outstanding and never pass up the opportunity to go the extra mile! Under Armando's leadership, sales staff (Emilia, Rui, Susana, Rosario), Front desk (day and night shifts) Elite Room under the leadership of Alejandra. The Bell boys are always ready to lend a helping hand. The staff at La Marina Restaurant (Jose Luis, Manuel, Jorge, Daniel, Hugo), the entertainment staff at the pool with Dante! The groundskeepers that have a smile and a buenos dias every day! The Terraza with the great live entertainment and of course Antonio! And last but not least Geovanni from room service! Always a happy smile and a good morning! El Cid Marina Beach Hotel is our home away from home! We wouldn't trade it for the world!

Except food in Japanese restaurant, all others were excellent and huge portions. Philadelphia cream cheese in sushi rolls don't work for us. Daniel and Luis are the best waiters. Vanese, the lady does the eggs and omellete, worked hard every morning and with a smile. Carmen and Ana took good care of us. We attended "the leisure club" presentation, but found the presenter was kind of rude. He walked in the room and never introduced himself to us or made eye contact with us. There were only 3 of us. We overheard his name when he introduced himself to the other attendee. The presentation was supposed to be an hour and it lasted more than 90 mins. The other attendee left after 55 mins. But that didn't ruin our stay in El Cid. We shall be back.

this is the 2nd time at this resort. Accommodations were wonderful. appreciated that all inclusive wasn't mandatory this trip. Bars and pool food were very good. Wait staff was very attentive.

The wait staff were all excellent. The food quality was fair at best. Pastry was dry where it should have been creamy. The tiramisu was a good example of less than quality. After 2 bites I gave up, it was dry and fairly tasteless. The Apple straddle seemed as if it had been microwaved, not a good idea as it loses its crunch and becomes gummy.
