Let me start off by saying we are NOT FOODIES. So I am not even going to rate the restaurants. We do not like seafood and are just simple when it comes to meals. We did not starve and found something we liked everywhere. We only went to one dinner, due to not wanting to be on a schedule. I will say REMEMBER you are in another country when eating out and you are on island time. We were there to relax, unwind, and being a nurse I honestly do not socialize much because I am selfish with my personal time. My husband did not even want to go as he had just worked a 21 day stretch and we had such a bad experience with “Beaches”. We got there around noon on Monday and left around noon today. We stayed in the JVS room 727 with the outdoor tranquility tub! Nothing but amazing! Room service was quick and efficient, concierge checked on us daily if not twice a day. The set up was a tad odd, but to make things work you have to think outside the box. Our room stayed clean and stocked, we never waited in line for a drink, the resort was clean. The PRIVATE ISLAND absolutely made this resort one of a kind! First time I have ever been relaxed enough to sleep outside. We are not big drinkers, but what we did drink was delicious. Hubs did not like the beer so he drank JWB on ice. 90% of the workers did not walk past us without checking on us. We went with no “expectations” and we chose that resort for the lack of “night life”. We played Jenga, read, took night walks on the beach, and just enjoyed having no responsibilities. My husband was so pleasantly surprised that he booked another vacation with Sandals while there. I suck at names ?? and wish I would have gotten more of them due to some employees that really stood out

We had a wonderful experience at Sandals Royal Bahamian. The weather was beautiful, and the property itself is gorgeous. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious. We especially enjoyed Mr. B’s bar and the Balmoral Club- we loved the piano bar and billiards room. The bartenders at both were so talented - they can make anything! The pizza (for lunch) and antipasto bar and chicken parmesan (dinner) at Tesoro’s was excellent. We also loved the coffees and desserts at the sweets food truck. Our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean and beach from the balcony. We enjoyed a couples massage at the spa, time at the private island, on the beach, and at the pool. The only drawback for us was that the nighttime entertainment was lacking. Our favorites were the fire show and the silent dance party. Other nights were a cabaret show and a band, which were a little underwhelming. But this was only a minor drawback. Sandals really does an excellent job of making sure everything runs smoothly- from the minute we checked in at the airport to the minute we were dropped back off, our vacation was worry-free. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone!
