We booked this place after reading great reviews on here and we had a fantastic stay for our first time to Disney. We stayed 5 nights in mid-May with our 2 kids and the location was superb--about a 12 min walk to Disney, with a 7-11 right beside the hotel (super convenient to grab snacks and affordable Minnie ears), CVS, Walgreens, and lots of family oriented restaurants minutes away. We ordered a few times from the Oasis Food Hall restaurant downstairs and there were great healthy options for a decent price. The breakfast buffet isn't fancy but it suited our needs and it gets busy fast. A big plus is there's a water refill station downstairs and we never had to buy water bottles during our stay. The only small downside is if your room is overlooking the outdoor pool, it can get noisy until about 9:30pm before guests retreat back to their rooms. Overall the staff was really friendly, there's a great couch area downstairs for kids to lounge for a bit in front of a TV while we sort out check-in/check-out. We would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed in a 2 queen bed room that had another lounge area with couch and TV (separated by a curtain to the bed area). It was very comfortable. Breakfast was included and they food was lovely and a small variety of cereals, hot food and bread/pastries. It was convenient to disneyland/california park and to eateries. It was a short Uber ride to Orange where we visited Outlet shopping centre (south) and to the North a short uber ride to Fullerton which was another area with shops, eateries and cinema. We were saw the LA Angels (baseball) take on NY Yankess and the stadium was a leisurely 30 minute walk away. We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in and as our room was ready we were allowed to go in. When leaving our flight was late at night and they allowed us to store our luggage and remain in the lounge area near reception until it was time to go to the airport. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

They did not have the room that I booked. I was placed on a busy floor right next to the elevator which stopped working. I did not rest at all. Heavy snoring sounds, loud footsteps above me and in the hallway, children screaming. I would not recommend staying here if you are a light sleeper.

Cool hotel, well themed for Disney Clean and in walking distance of Disney the staff was really nice and there was ample parking, I love that I had the choice to eat breakfast outside on the sun deck which had a Disney view on such a lovely sunny morning it was very refreshing I will return to this Hotel it was very nice and well-priced

I would highly recommend Desert Palms Hotel & Suites. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. It was clean and well kept. All of the employees were kind and helpful. The front desk helped us with transportation when our ride cancelled on us late the night before. Tarun's Transportation was a great ride. They were very accommodating and clean.
