Love the location!

michaelcP1897EV (Plain City, United States) on Oct 19, 2025

Love this location for visiting the Disney Resort! You just exit the hotel and cross at the light and you are entering the Disney property. While cost is higher than I would normally prefer, the free breakfast is excellent including the staff who work it. There is daily housekeeping (which is not always a given anymore), as well. In addition, there were a ton of channels for viewing on the TV, which is also not common anymore. We had a king that included a couch. The sink/countertop was outside the shower/toilet area.

Super nice hotel - will stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience at the PPL. The hotel is in very nice condition and has clearly been modernized. What's more, everything worked in the room. It's normal these days to find worn out fixtures, outlets, etc. All the staff was first rate too. It's also nice to have the complimentary breakfast - the reason we decided against Park Vue.

Mold / Mildew, plus a staff and general manager that couldn’t care less.

Curious724374 (Portland, Oregon) on Sep 29, 2025

Terrible mold/mildew problem in at least the first floor rooms. Traveling is an already difficult when your wife has serious ADA issues. In our case my wife has a severe immune disorder, and molds/mildew are one of the things that can trigger an episode and her in the hospital, so I always communicate months in advance, and then call ahead again a week in advance to make sure a hotel can accommodate someone with her condition. Sadly if the manager just doesn’t care, you sometimes find yourself in the situation we did last night. The moment both of the doors to our two rooms were opened, we were hit by a wave of mildew smell. We checked a few other rooms on the first floor as well but it’s clearly in the carpet/.carpet pads of all of the first floor rooms at this hotel are saturated with mildew. Even if you not dangerously allergic like my wife, the smell is obvious, and gross. Basically the rooms all smell like a wet towel was left in the corner for weeks/months. Sometimes a problem like this is confined to the first floor (because there is no air circulation from below to help dry the carpet pads after they get wet) so we asked if we could try a second floor room. We were told no. I explained again it was a serious health issue asked to talk to the manager. They called her on the phone but she apparently just told the desk staff to refund our money, and refused to speak with me directly when I asked. Despite months of preparation, we had to find another hotel at midnight because the mold/mildew smell, staff and management were just that bad.

Closest Hotel to Disneyland

Michael G (Vernon Rockville, Connecticut) on Aug 23, 2025

This is the closest hotel to Disneyland and has a free hot breakfast every day. We had a wonderful stay. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the daily housekeeping (which is no longer offered at many hotels). The pool area was nice and clean with plenty of towels. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Disneyland.

Excellent

Great stay! Some of the reviews say the front desk staff is not friendly…they must have fixed that because I was welcomed warmly by Timothy. Every interaction I had in the lobby was friendly. Some of the reviews complain about the beds/pillows…we found them fine. We had a queen room, maybe the doubles are not as nice? The parking was easy, the breakfast was great, the location can’t be beat. Also…one night upon returning from the parks absolutely beat and crawling into bed…I could hear people whooping it up in the pool, which our room overlooked. Which closes at 10pm. I thought awww hockey sticks, I’m too tired to have to be a B. I got up and walked to the window, wondering if dialing 0 still gets you the front desk or if that’s an outdated thing…when I see/hear an employee telling the people in the pool that it closed at 10 and they need to leave. On top of it before I even had to get mad. THANK YOU!
