no amenities

Michelle B (Long Beach, Mississippi) on Jun 13, 2025

Rooftop restaurant was closed for two nights. One for a private party. The urban pantry has a limited selection of basic food. Wound up eating elsewhere. Front desk was little help with getting information about going somewhere besides the theme parks. This hotel just lacks amenities. Good place to sleep but the bar is tiny and without the rooftop there is nowhere nice to eat. Will not stay here again.

Fantastic Stay

Climber11042752360 on Jun 03, 2025

Third stay at Universal Aventura Hotel. Check in smooth and efficient. Request granted for room on 12th floor with a Theme Park view. Ate at Urban pantry a few times, excellent choices for Breakfast and Dinner at reasonable prices, although alcohol on the expensive side but it is an onsite hotel. Special mention to Edwin on the front desk and Ines and Brooke in Urban Pantry who made us feel so welcome. Looking forward to seeing you all again in October 2026.

When can we stay again?!

Becky_Lou_26 (Halifax, United Kingdom) on May 29, 2025

A great, reasonably priced hotel Pros - Rooms clean and quiet, lovely quiet pool, amazing location for IOA, Studios and Volcano Bay. You can walk to Volcano Bay in under 5 minutes! The other parks are a 15 minute walk, a boat ride from Sapphire falls across or a bus ride to city walk. I wouldn’t recommend the bus to the OG parks as it’s quicker to walk. We didn’t do Epic but there was a bus available for that too. Starbucks on site was great too! Staff were all super friendly and helpful! Cons - if I had to give any the food and drink on site is expensive! So bear that in mind as there’s not a Walmart/Walgreens within walking distance. Also, there was only one towel hook (random but it annoyed me haha) and we found the room a bit small compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. Not a con for us but there’s not really any theming at this hotel, so it might not be the one for you if you want that for a family holiday. We were 2 adults no children so we picked this hotel based on it being a bit quieter. We didn’t get chance to enjoy it but there’s a rooftop bar that looked fab! Overall, we would stay here again tomorrow! Thank you Aventura!

Great Stay!

DanTan92 on May 25, 2025

I've just come back from 10 days at the Aventura and would return! It's great base for exploring. You can walk through the pool area to the entrance of Volcano Bay which takes less than 5 minutes and City Walk, Universal and IOA are a short walk, bus or water taxi shuttle away (walk across the road to Sapphire Falls for the water taxi they are so frequent and easy with an amazing view along the way and you also go through a security check here so miss all that at Universal.) We ended up using this more often than not! The food at Bar 17 is really good and the views are beautiful. You can catch the sun set and then fireworks from Magic Kingdom and Epcot in the distance. We enjoyed the pizza in the Urban Pantry and the only other things we ate there was breakfast which we didn't enjoy, but easy enough to jump over to city walk and grab a yummy breakfast from Cinnabon etc/or order something from Uber on those days with late starts ?? City Walk also has some great options for food in the evenings if you don't want to go too far. The staff at reception were lovely and the room was more than decent for the two of us, the bed was comfortable and we had a great view. If you miss the cleaner (we had a DND sign on the door shortly whilst we got ready) you miss them for that day and they are scheduled every other day so bare this in mind. We also found the hotel so peaceful after a day at the parks which we really appreciated! An Uber to a base Disney park was always a reasonable price and we then tended to use the free Disney transport to go between parks and disney springs. Heads up, if heading to MK to watch the fireworks you cannot get an Uber directly from the park and need to get the monorail or boat to the transportation center which has crazy ques after the fireworks, so worth hanging around and getting some rides in untill those die down.

It’s great but there are a better

craigy732018 (Bradford, United Kingdom) on May 23, 2025

This hotel is perfect. It’s clean, reliable and the staff are superb. The food is excellent and the location is ideal - on the doorstep of Volcano bay and 20 minutes walk from the Universal Parks. However, it feels like IKEA, there’s furniture is too perfect, everything is pricy and although there are hardly any kids staying, the hotel felt soulless to me. The Endless Summer hotel was better in the sense that it felt like we were at Universal or Disney. If you just need a room for the night, this place is perfect. It’s a no nonsense hotel but i felt it wasn’t a Universal or Disney experience hotel. It felt like a hotel where work would send you for a training course. Not our type of hotel but the hotel is really good.
