Great stay, recommended

We stayed here for 5 nights in a room with 2 x double beds. The room is clean and has everything you need for a good stay. The room is serviced every other day with new towels etc. I do wish they also included shower gel as opposed to a bar of soap but that is just personal preference. All the staff are helpful and we enjoyed the Starbucks downstairs for breakfast. The staff there are also very friendly. The buses to the parks are frequent or you can go through Sapphire Falls Hotel to the ferry. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again.
Very convenient for the parks

We loved our stay at this hotel. It was so convenient for the parks. Rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped, beds were comfortable. Rooms were cleaned and serviced every other day. The hotel has a canteen/ grab and go type restaurant where you could order food to eat in or there were lots of take out sandwiches, fruit & snacks to go, it was nice to have the choice. There is also a pizza oven where you can get pizzas made fresh to eat in or take away. There is also a Starbucks. As this is a universal hotel you can also eat next door at sapphire falls, which was more of a formal dining experience. The swimming pool area was nice, but we didn’t use as weather wasn’t really warm enough. We used to walk to sapphire falls to get the water taxi into the park, but you can also walk there in about 15 mins along the side of the canal which the water taxis use. We also enjoyed sitting up in the rooftop bar 17 where you can enjoy food and drinks. Sometimes you can be lucky to catch the firework displays in the distance from Disney and Epcot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
We recommend the Aventura Hotel!

We had a great experience staying at the Universal Aventura Hotel. We walked to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures (we chose to walk rather than waiting for the water taxi). It was convenient being able to leave whenever we want and walk to the parks. The day we went to Epic it was easy to take the shuttle from the hotel. And Volcano Bay was so close! We enjoyed staying at the hotel itself - we liked the minimal vibe. The room worked well for our family of 3 (king bed and pull out couch). We only bought breakfast in the hotel and drinks at the bar so can't comment on the restaurant. Pool and rooftop bar were nice, as was the staff. Our daughter loved seeing the robot in the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.
Brilliant 10 night stay

After reading recent bad reviews we had to do our own to say we completely disagree as we loved this hotel! 10 night stay with adult kids (22 and 19) and we all had a great time. Yes the road is a little noisy in the mornings but it certainly didn’t keep us awake during the night. The room and bathroom was spotless and cleaned every other day where they left fresh towels, emptied bins and brushed/ mopped the floors. Always smelt fresh after they had been in. We had adjoining skyline 2 queen bed rooms which can sleep 4 and even though had 2 people in each room we were left four towels, hand towels and face cloths so there was always a spare. Really don’t understand peoples problem with housekeeping every other day - you are out at the parks 8 to 10 hours a day so it’s not hard to keep your room tidy! All the staff were lovely and friendly. The food in the urban pantry was excellent. Highly recommend the wok bowls, the burgers and pizza station. Lots of choice for breakfast - cooked items and hot sandwiches, croissants, doughnuts, cereal pots, fruit and fruit pots, and a Starbucks with all their usual breakfast options. Location for the parks was fantastic. It’s not advertised by staff but you can walk just next door to sapphire falls and use the water taxi to get to Universal and Islands of Adventure with security on the dock so you avoid the big queues at the main entrance security. We used the shuttle bus to get to epic - very frequent reliable service- never had to wait more than 5 to 10 mins. Also a walking path to volcano bay from the back of the pool area. Didn’t use the pool as were too busy in the parks but area looked nice and clean and good shaded seating area by the pool bar. This hotel is not aimed at families with very young children but that’s exactly why we chose it as it was more chilled and quiet and no kids running around corridors or banging doors that you get in the bigger more themed hotels. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.
Noisy

Stayed 2 nights in a standard room on 8th floor overlooking the main entrance. While the hotel has some positives, particularly the housekeeping, the high level of road noise 24/7 was an issue. The main road is basically an extended I-4 on/off ramp, and the traffic lights in front of the hotel effectively a starting grid. Every green light was like a speedway. Even ear plugs had no chance. Poor location and a large window design which didn’t appear to help. Would not return.
