Pleasantly surprised!

nugenthorne_79 (Hitchin, United Kingdom) on Apr 04, 2026

We moved across to this hotel after staying at the Royal pacific and were pleasantly surprised how good this hotel was! We had a double queen deluxe room - which had a panoramic window and a fab view! We were the Cabana bay side and was lucky enough to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks! Rooms were a good size - we liked the shower cubicle better than the bath with over shower and curtain in the Royal pacific! There is a small fridge. The rooftop was great for an early evening drink and watching the sunset or just stay in your room and watch it set! Food was ok - we had noodles, pizza and again stayed in our room or you can eat in the dining area! It seemed very quiet! Slight cons - paper cups rather than glasses and not a great deal of storage (we only stayed a night so wasn’t an issue) the pool was ok - nothing special - the water was freezing! But there was a hot tub to warm up! We stayed here for the close proximity to Volcano Bay! All in all I would recommend this hotel for a short stay while visiting universal!

Disappointing Experience & Complete Lack of Accountability

sarahgB924NE on Mar 30, 2026

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at the Aventura Resort Orlando was unacceptable and needs to be shared. During my stay, my Louis Vuitton belt was taken from my room. What followed was even more concerning than the incident itself. I was passed between nearly 20 different staff members across security, front desk, and lost & found — with no ownership, no clear communication, and no resolution. At multiple points, I was told “we’ll make this right,” only to later be told that because there is “no proof,” nothing can be done. That response is not only dismissive, but it completely ignores the responsibility a property has to its guests. The issue here is bigger than a missing item — it’s the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer care. When a guest raises a serious concern involving potential theft, the expectation is a coordinated, thoughtful response. Instead, I experienced deflection, inconsistency, and zero follow-through. For a hospitality business in a major market like Orlando, this is unacceptable. I would strongly caution others to think twice before staying here — not because issues can’t happen anywhere, but because how they are handled here falls far below any reasonable standard.

Great stay, recommended

scottyonholiday (Dorset, England) on Mar 27, 2026

We stayed here for 5 nights in a room with 2 x double beds. The room is clean and has everything you need for a good stay. The room is serviced every other day with new towels etc. I do wish they also included shower gel as opposed to a bar of soap but that is just personal preference. All the staff are helpful and we enjoyed the Starbucks downstairs for breakfast. The staff there are also very friendly. The buses to the parks are frequent or you can go through Sapphire Falls Hotel to the ferry. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Very convenient for the parks

SUNshine23-10 (Harlow Essex) on Mar 09, 2026

We loved our stay at this hotel. It was so convenient for the parks. Rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped, beds were comfortable. Rooms were cleaned and serviced every other day. The hotel has a canteen/ grab and go type restaurant where you could order food to eat in or there were lots of take out sandwiches, fruit & snacks to go, it was nice to have the choice. There is also a pizza oven where you can get pizzas made fresh to eat in or take away. There is also a Starbucks. As this is a universal hotel you can also eat next door at sapphire falls, which was more of a formal dining experience. The swimming pool area was nice, but we didn’t use as weather wasn’t really warm enough. We used to walk to sapphire falls to get the water taxi into the park, but you can also walk there in about 15 mins along the side of the canal which the water taxis use. We also enjoyed sitting up in the rooftop bar 17 where you can enjoy food and drinks. Sometimes you can be lucky to catch the firework displays in the distance from Disney and Epcot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

We recommend the Aventura Hotel!

XMurphy (East Greenwich, Rhode Island) on Mar 09, 2026

We had a great experience staying at the Universal Aventura Hotel. We walked to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures (we chose to walk rather than waiting for the water taxi). It was convenient being able to leave whenever we want and walk to the parks. The day we went to Epic it was easy to take the shuttle from the hotel. And Volcano Bay was so close! We enjoyed staying at the hotel itself - we liked the minimal vibe. The room worked well for our family of 3 (king bed and pull out couch). We only bought breakfast in the hotel and drinks at the bar so can't comment on the restaurant. Pool and rooftop bar were nice, as was the staff. Our daughter loved seeing the robot in the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.
