Great Universal resort hotel. Well suited for couples. Everything in the hotel is modern with clean and comfortable rooms that lean on technology. Electronics in the room are controlled by an iPad. About a 5 minute bus journey to Citywalk or head to the neighbouring hotel and grab the water taxi for a more scenic journey.

What an hotel "wow". 28 days in Orlando and the last 7 day's staying in Universals Aventura. When you have a day in the parks it's fantastic and when u get back to the hotel I'm normally wasted, but the Aventura is so chilled that u can go to the rooftop and just sit at the bar or look over at all the lights and truthful feel satisfied. The real magic is at Universal. We will be back very soon from the good old United kingdom, and this time it's going to be 2 weeks in Aventura, and 2 weeks in Cabana Bay. We moved to the Aventura after staying at the Hard Rock, and as it’s a more moderate hotel our expectations were not high. However we were wrong, this was a great hotel. The theming was great and very clean and modern, the lobby had lots of places to eat and drink and we had the pizza for lunch one day which was great and good value. The rooms were decent, and had everything you would have needed. There were no glasses but plastic disposable cups to use, but as I said it’s a cheaper hotel. Toiletries were good and plenty of towels to use. The room has an iPad as its control hub where you can do everything from control the TV, light and heating to order food or chat to the hotel - very cool! The pool is nice, not huge but good. However you are 2 minutes away from volcano bay so could just chill at the park (see my separate review) it is about a 20-25 minute walk to city walk and the main parks however if you walk to the hotel next door (about 7-10 minutes) you can grab the boat. The hotel also has the rooftop bar 17 (see my separate review) which also adds to its appeal Will definitely stay here on out return

Went out to the universals parks for the day came back to room and cleaning staff had smashed tablet that controls tv .lights and that .reported it straight away to kyle in management .filled out report to say we were at park which they checked on cctv that cleaners were last in room after us .got told we would not get charged for the damage and on check out they charged me over $200 for a new tablet which we didnt break so will never stop at aventura again i advise taking video or pics when leaving room and when returning very very dissapointed with this hotel avoid find some where else that treats you better

Excellent hotel, great service. Nice room, great free shuttle every 10 mins. Close to universal parks great roof top bar. Food was good and reasonable. Aircon a little cold on lobby Could be better with water in room each day Nice To have beds made each day
