Great staff!

Naman at the front desk. Reza at the adult pool. Jenna at the pool bar. All were PHENOMENAL and so welcoming. I absolutely felt at home but in the most upgraded way with all of their care and help. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and updated. I was here for a work conference and then some and it was just absolutely lovely. Would not have had the time I did without the three members listed above. Thank you so much for your care and support and overall welcome. I WILL be back.
Won't be returning

Room was clean, hotel was clean. I appreciate the water station in the lobby where you can fill up your water bottle, especially in the hot Arizona weather. We needed to get into our room in the afternoon and get some work done and asked to have the room serviced by 1:00 (this was about 10am). We were assured by the front desk that it would happen. We returned a bit later than planned - 2:30 and the room had not been serviced. I don't understand why this happened since when we left the hotel at 10:30, there were two housekeeping carts in our hallway, both within a couple of doors of ours, on either side. We ended up going back down to the bar area to sit for a bit and thought we'd get a bite to eat and a drink, only to find out that the one bar that was supposed to be open during the day, was closed to hotel guests for a Kentucky Derby event. As a paying guest at this Westin, I would expect to be able to get access to their bars during normal operating hours. We've come here many times over the past couple of years and this is the third time in a row that we've had issues. We won't be back.
Excellent and much for adults & children activities!

Great room, beautiful outdoor bar with golf course view, good menu and flat panel TVs for whatever sport you like to watch. The fairly new large patio area before you get to the bar is great with a very large flat panel TV. I recommended to the concierge, for locals in the summer when it's a slow season, they should offer movie & popcorn night :-)
Not the kind of place I would expect for the price paid.

The hotel is Nice but the rooms are a joke. I paid extra for a Mountain View junior suite and got The view of the resort Maintenance shed roof top. No chance to get the same room I wanted just a lower class room. I would not have expected this in Scottsdale nor from an upper tier Marriott Bonvoy selection for the price. I booked in advance as well. I can see minimum value of pre-booking or of being a Marriott Bonvoy member !
Avoid room 8049!

Our upgrade was a downgrade! We had a confirmed reservation for a King Bed room with a Twin Trundle Bed and Mountain View. (My experience is the Mountain View rooms are quieter. ) Because of my Titanium Elite status, we were "upgraded" to an 8th floor, Golf view. Sounded good, but beware! The small room had a King bed, no trundle, no refrigerator, the tiniest balcony ever seen and only one bath robe. We were 1 room from the 8th floor elevator and right next door to the ice machine! The noise from the restaurant, televisions and the courtyard below were horrible. Don't let them put you in Room 8049!
