The Westin is an impressive resort and spa. The room was updated with a separate shower and tub. The beds were excellent-very comfortable. The grounds were clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our staycation- especially enjoyed the family pool area. The food was very good. Overall, a great value for both the hotel and the restaurants. The reason for giving 4 out of 5 stars pertains to the pool area. The tubes for the Lazy River did not hold air well. The lounge chairs needed to be sprayed down each day to remove the bird droppings. Also, we found trash under our chair that had not been picked up from the day before. As I floated the Lazy River, I picked up several empty plastic cups along the way and disposed of them in the trash. A good clean up of the area would be suggested each evening. With the exception of the cleaning in the pool area, we found the time spent at the Westin to be very realaxing and enjoyable!

Thank you for a great vacay, found the staff excellent in every department and this on top of starting a remodel is indeed remarkable. Thank you for the great hospitality. The only feedback we have is more mats poolside, with the lazy river and slide it is very difficult for children’s feet to navigate the hot cement and with the shoe boxes at the entrance it appears shoes are not allowed in these areas that are extremely dangerous at the 100+ temps. Thank you!

We given a beautiful upgraded Presidential Suite overlooking the golf course because the AC was loud in the casita room. It clean but housekeeping our 2nd day wasn’t the best. View was amazing. Bed was so comfortable. We weren’t told of construction until we checked in which limited dining options. Staff overworked and not as friendly with the exception of Marcie the Mgr. & Whitney our server at the pool. My husband tried the flow rider but they need someone stronger to help out when men are trying it. The girl was great with the children but not much help with men. Food delicious. It’s not cheap but with the upgrade it was worth it. Go somewhere else for massages we had two days of couple massages and very disappointing. The relaxation room isn’t very nice and the showers were not cared for, no towels and soap all over.

My family of 4 spent 3 days at the westin during our trip to AZ. Facility was great and staff was friendly. We stayed in a casita room, away from main hotel area between pool and golf clubhouse. Room was modern and clean. Each casita building had its own ice machine which came in handy. Hotel has a great pool and spa. Short walk or golf cart ride to Kierland Commons with tons of shopping, dining, and a movie theatre. We will be back!

The resort is very well suited for a business meeting venue. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. I stayed in the Casita villas. The food and service was great and had many options. Meeting rooms were very good and the resort offers several areas for quick small side meetings. The golf course was outstanding and beautiful. The fairways and greens were great.
