Not all that!!

The room had a large gap under the door for almost $400 not great. It was either hot or cold in the room. Food and beverages are insanely priced and not that great. $142 for mediocre lunch. There was bird poop on pool chairs, on balcony furniture….Also birds took our $10 French fries not cool. Lots of other people were given covers for food which is needed. Lastly the lazy river had so many bugs and debris I had to help pull it out of my daughter’s hair.
DO NOT STAY HERE!

Avoid this place at all costs! The staff, particularly a night-shift security guard named Guy, were terrible. Guy handled a situation unprofessionally, being rude, making baseless accusations, threatening eviction and trespassing, and forcing us to leave our room for most of the night because he “knew” something else would happen when it hadn’t. His actions made us feel unwelcome and ruined our trip. We almost went and stayed somewhere else because of Guy. I sent a formal complaint email to the assistant front desk manager about Guy but received no response, showing a lack of accountability. To top it off, they charged me for daily parking without informing me while I was also paying the parking lot fee upon leaving the lot! So, I paid double what I should have, and the front desk did nothing about it when I brought it up. We’re extremely disappointed and strongly recommend choosing another hotel for a respectful and fair experience.
Incredible Staff, But the Pool Experience Needs a Rethink

Just got back from our stay at The Westin Kierland and wanted to share a very mixed experience. First—the good stuff. And it’s really good: Adam is the gold standard of hospitality. Thoughtful, present, and truly made us feel valued. Naman at check-in was efficient and kind—smoothest check-in we’ve had in a while. Ricky at the restaurant made every meal feel like a treat with his warm, attentive service. The golf cart drivers and attendants were fantastic—courteous and helpful every single time. Because of these people, our stay had some truly great moments. They exceeded every expectation and carried the Marriott brand with pride. But... the pool. We couldn’t even find a seat. It was completely packed—and not with hotel guests. The ResortPass crowd took over, making it nearly impossible to enjoy what should be a key part of the stay. I get that chairs aren’t guaranteed and it’s first come, first served—but it’s frustrating when you’re paying hundreds per night and can’t access the amenities included with your stay. Eventually, when we did make it into the lazy river, it was just... gross. Visibly dirty, murky water, debris floating—it honestly turned my daughter off from swimming altogether. And that says a lot. Not being dramatic here—anyone could see it was in need of some serious cleaning. Would I come back for the people and the rooms? Absolutely. But would I pay for this experience expecting to enjoy the pool again? Not unless something changes. That said—I’m hopeful. I know Adam is someone who truly cares, and I believe that with his leadership, the resort will take this feedback seriously. I’m sure he’ll get it right for future Marriott guests. Here’s hoping this incredible team gets the support they need to match the service with an equally great amenity experience.
Nice hotel but terrible pool hours for a resort

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and the hotel oddly decided to change the pool hours during the busiest days of the weekend. On our first day, the pool opened at 6am and there were kids in it. Oddly, they changed the hours to open at 9am during the three-day weekend. If they opened at 8am, many families would have been happy, especially those coming from the east coast where kids have been awake since 5am. Parents were angry and i don’t blame them. You can’t have a kids pool that opens at 9am. Especially when the drunk adults are taking over the area before noon.
Yup

I really like this place. Went here for a few nights for a conference. Basically a nice experience across the board. Solid room. Really cool outdoor spaces, great for having a drink outside and watching a game. Also a really nice gym, sunny with a bunch of Pelotons. Would stay here again anytime.
