The Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta resort is excited to be shifting to a new phase in their renovation plans, here are some recent updates and new dates to their renovation schedule for 2025:
April 28, 2025 – November 15, 2025: New Italian restaurant concept at Melanzanne. Italian restaurant with alternative menu will be offered temporarily at a different location with a fantastic Pacific Ocean view.
January 12, 2025 – June 2025: Improvement of existing emergency stairs at North Tower. Clearly marked and signposted pathways to the two available stairs will be in place during this period. Some noise and dust may occur in specific areas.
April 01, 2025 - December 2025: North Tower elevators renovation. Noise and vibrations may be expected in focused areas of this tower during specific timing (10am-6pm).
May 01, 2025 – August 2025: Improvement of existing emergency stairs at Club Tower. Noise and vibrations may be expected in focused areas of this tower during specific times (10am-6pm).
April 01, 2025 – August 2025: Renovation work and new bridal suite for Vitamar Spa. Isolated areas will be unavailable during this time. Heavy noise and vibrations may be expected during specific times (10am-6pm).
April 01, 2025 – June 2025: Casa Grande Palm Roof renovation. The restaurant will remain open during this time. All work will be carried out in sections and isolated to ensure minimal disruption and protect the guest experience during operating hours.
Please note these plans are subject to change, and the dedicated hotel crew is working diligently to minimize disruptions throughout the renovation period.

Amazing staff and beautiful area

Amazing location, private beach. Staff make this hotel. They're attentive across the board....from the bellhops to the executive chefs at the restaurants. Everyone is customer first. Room, pools, and every area we visited was spotless and well maintained. Would definitely return.

This was a great get away. We had a great kayaking tour with Kevin, did a great job and made it fun for my boys. Kevin was awesome. We also did a fishing boat out of the resort with puerto Vallarta Viking fishing charters… Omar and the crew were great and put us on a lot of fish. The rooms were not the best, ours didn’t have an ironing board, there was not a bench or luggage rack so we were constantly using the bed, the clothes line in the restroom was installed upside down so you could not hang close to dry. The sheets were dirty when we arrived and there were no extra linen in the room. Food was exceptional.
