I love staying here. It's my 4th time staying at this beautiful property with it's beautiful private beach. The staff are always so accommodating. A great location, 10 minutes in a taxi to town. This is a perfect property for a relaxing vacation for couples, groups, weddings or any occasion.

So, I'm going to warn you this review might be long, so here are the headlines. Third time here, First since the pandemic. I love it. I can't recommend it highly enough. And I will return. The site: It is south of Puerto Vallarta and the airport is north, so it if is going to take some time to get here. Even if you take a taxi, it will be about 30 minutes depending on the time of day (about 240 pesos for a taxi). In rush hour, add ten minutes, maybe more depending on the number of stops of your transfer provider. This is a secure compound. There is one entrance off the Pacific Highway, which has a security gate. You will have to log in and out whether your are leaving ir or arriving by cab, or tour, or walking. The beach (which is great) is flanked by two cliffs at either end.) A taxi ride into town is about 85 pesos into the Zona Romantica and the Playa de Los Muertos, and about 100 pesos into the City Hall, (Centre of the Malecon, right by the Puerto Vallarta sign and in front of the Cathedral de Guadalupe). You can walk into town, which I like, but there are a few caveats, Firstly, there is no "sidewalk" for much of the walk, as we understand it, Much of it is cobblestone, or brick, or on broken ground, on sand or rock. It is narrow in spots and sloped in spots. I would not recommend it for young children or anyone with mobility issues, but people do it. The location: It has a private leach, edged on both ends by cliffs. When the tides wash in seaweed or other debris, the workers are out first thing in the morning raking it away, (Didn't see it this year, but did last visit,) It is immaculate. Not too far from Los Arcos, about a half-hour, if you want to use the sea Kyaks (though I have not). The facilities: Didn't use the spa, but heard many great reviews. The restaurants are all great. I love Pureza for the gyozas and the Sushi Serranitos, Blaze for the Baja Shrimp and Fish Tacos, and Casa Grande for the over-all; Mexican vibe. Vivaz is great for all meals but not available for dinner every day. I love the Cochinita, tacos al pastor, scrambled eggs with green salsa, tamales, and whole roasted fillets of mahi-mahi and snapper. The Staff: They are fantastic. As a friend said, this is a large facility, but it does not feel large, It feels intimate, and that is largely die to the staff. I hesitate to name my favorites, because I know I will leave folks out that I cannot mention, perhaps because I either did not ask or do not remember their names. My fault not theirs, Nonetheless, I think of: - Samuel, Cesar, Hector, and the wait-staff and reception ladies of Vivaz; - The two Jorjes _ a bartender and a gym manager, respectively; - The reception ladies of Blaze and Carlos; - The reception lady and chief waiter and manager at Pureza; - The staff at the front desk and club tower desk; - Vicente, a bartender; - and the housekeeping and bell-hopping staff. I should also mention this place is very family friendly. I saw many young children, and they seemed content and well behaved, maybe because of the many kid-friendly amenities and activities available. (There is an adults-only pool and other areas available) . Finally, also, I should mention that while some events were often jubilant and sometimes loud, they always stopped at a reasonable hour for those of us who preferred sleep and quiet over party. In short, I cannot recommend it highly enough. yvt, David Dundee
