We were really looking forward to this fairly expensive holiday. Unfortunately it was a massive disappointment. Yes the grounds are lovely, the pools are lovely and the beach is very nice (once the seaweed was cleared). Our room had several cockroaches in it during our stay. When I asked reception to send someone to remove them, they said yes but sent nobody. I rang again, and was lied to again. Nobody came and I got rid of them myself. The room had a funny smell too, which got worse as the holiday went on. Some of the staff were very rude. Unfortunately the food was well below par. The Steak House (Brave) was very good. The Japanese restaurant was also very nice. Most of the others were poor. The Rockstar Cafe is possibly the worst restaurant I have ever been to. We spent around 20- 30 minutes trying to order burgers and in the end (nearly an hour later) they brought us all plain burgers and a plate of salad and told us to make our own. Our Minibar was only restocked 3 times in 10 days and that was only when I called them. Our daughters were completely ignored at the swim - up bar, and came away quite upset. The worst thing for me was the fact that I could not get a sugar free drink at the Coral level bar or reception bar for most of my stay. Being Diabetic, this is obviously an issue. They had no Coke Zero due to supply problems apparently. With no other sugar free drinks available, this means I paid for all inclusive and could only drink water in the area where I paid more money for an upgrade. I would not stay here again. And every reply to negative reviews indicate that something will be done to improve the service, and yet it is still not up to standard, making me think twice about any Iberostar hotel in the future.

This was our first visit to the Coral Level having stayed at all the other Iberostars on the island more than 20 times. The staff are outstanding and so friendly. There were always sunbeds in the areas we preferred. The food in the Coral Level was very good and we had no problem with queues. We did have problems getting into the steak restaurant as reservations are no longer required. We prefer to eat between 8 and 8.30 when on holiday so at this time the waiting lists were full. The choice of alcohol (and non alcohol) was excellent and we loved Vicente in the Coral Level lounge. There is a waiter service around the infinity pool and a small pop up bar at the quiet pool. I had an accident while we were there and the staff were very attentive, making sure I received appropriate treatment and checked on me several times during the rest of our holiday. Although there were small niggles, we enjoyed it so much we are returning at the end of August.

Everyone at this resort was phenomenal to us. From star prestige, our bartenders, restaurant staff, and our House keepers.Also our massage ladies. thank you also too the chefs, Yeni and Keilandy. Here are just a few more. Alex,Zuleika,Jesus,Jose,and Santana from Star prestige Stefani and Ninoshka our massage therapy. Thank you, everyone.

Shout out to our wonderful Milena…she kept our room…#2395 immaculate! She is a true gem. Loved that every time we came back to our room there was a surprise waiting for us. Flowers, swans, cute towel designs. Such a super sweet person!! Anytime I can get a break from cleaning…I already feel relaxed!!! The spa gals were AHMAZING too! Lionel our host was superb...thank you for making our trip beyond excellent!! Being honest, the food was meh, the Japanese restaurant was the group favorite. The chefs were engaging and fun!! Our room was close to the beach and pool…it was perfect!! Drinks were tasty…(try a mini beer… no beer involved!) with heavy pours?? The beach was awesome…days with heavy seaweed but we walked either direction…no seaweed. We were there when hurricane Beryl passed by...the resort was on top of it and I always felt safe. Thankfully we just had some heavy rains and gusts of winds here and there. Please do yourself a favor and don’t look up the weather. Even if your app says rain…it’ll storm and then back to sunny and hot! Now I must rant…the cigarette smoke!!! How in the world is it 2024 and we must still put up with 2nd hand smoke??? Experienced it everywhere…the pool swim up bar, waiting in lines for a restaurant , at the theater, at the buffets, the casino was absolutely horrible, I walked in and straight back out! If smokers want to smoke…cool…but should do so only in designated areas! Just blows me away that children, staff, and non smokers have to put up with it!!!

Milena our housekeeper for room number 2355, was awesome she always kept the room perfect for us. And it made our trip awesome. Also Jose at star prestige area on the beach and all the star prestige staff were always there to help us with everything that we wanted or needed. We loved it so much we will be back in October. ??????
