Excellent facilities, just a 2 min walk from Powell street station & hub for shopping/ bars, 1.5 miles walk to Golden Gate Park, 3 mile walk to Ocean Beach about an hour if your an outdoor walker, other wise public transportation bus / trams take you all around the city, trams take you from Powell Street all the way to Fisherman Warff / Pier 39 Hotel was fabulous great art decor, clean, well maintained, maid service every day, great restaurant with amazing food, fully enjoyed my stay in this hotel + San Francisco will be back again 5??

Great smell in the lobby kind agents and door man’s the valet were lovely. Would stay here again……..

This charming hotel had old-school charm and friendly staff. The gym in the Lower Lobby was exceptional. There were ice machines and exceptional filtered water dispensers for refilling water bottles. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the mini-fridge convenient. Coffee provided each morning near the lobby. Could not ask for a better hotel within walking distance to Oracle Park and other attractions.

I stayed at the Marker in April 2024 and found the hotel to be fantastic. Very nice, updated rooms. Windows that open to the exterior for fresh air, filtered water and ice on every floor. Best of all are the gas fireplaces downstairs. One is in the big open air room and the other in the private library. Free coffea in the AM and an excellent restaurant (Tratta) in the hotel. I rate it an A+

This hotel made my trip a pretty cool experience. You know when you are staying in a good hotel automatically makes your stay 100x better . From the hotel to our room being really clean to the whole staff being amazing everyone was so nice and friendly. Nessa, Blanca & Mitch. From the rest of the Valet parking being so nice but didn't get the rest of their names. Truly nice hotel with excellent staff. When I come to San Francisco I will forsure stay at The Marker no hesitation.
