When you first enter The Marker, it’s impossible not to be impressed by the stunning lobby. A Beauty and the Beast-esque entrance hall greets you with a crackling fireplace. The Library is a perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning while you wait for the rest of your group. Ridhi and Dhali welcomed us with warmth and enthusiasm upon check-in, and when they heard it was our wedding week they were quick to ply us with delicious popcorn (we don’t drink alcohol, so we declined the offer of wine) and upgraded our room to a suite! We had an incredibly comfortable stay in our gorgeous room complete with jacuzzi tub. It was spacious, clean and cozy and we would definitely stay again upon a return to SF. It’s walking distance from a lot of great restaurants and bars and the staff were always helpful and kind. We had had some concerns about the proximity to the Tenderloin but we did not have any major problems.

The front lady was very welcoming during check-in. The room was clean and cozy. Big enough to accommodate a family of 4. Walk in distance to union square, grocery stores (Trader Joe’s) and the cable car station provide nice vacation stay in SF.

A quirky hotel with friendly staff, clean amenities, and a fantastic location. Highly recommend

Aloha, Charles and his team were extremely friendly and always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Charles had all the knowledge and insight to make our stay the best ever in SF. Not quite sure on the spelling, but Dahle was also an exceptional host with a wonderful smile to greet you every time passing the reception area. The hotel was clean and our room was perfect.

All started with the checkin from both, Dhali and Charles. Amazing, over the top reception. Was really impressed. Every time I walked by the front desk was greeted by name (as were other guests) this place has what appears to be excellent training as well as excellent choices on whom they hire.. other than the front desk and concerge staff, the room i had was excellent. Nice bathroom and attrqctive appointments. Only semi negative I might add was i would've liked a larger TV but other than that, the entire few day stay was a 10!
