This is a bit long but worth the read ~ I am a Gold Marriott member and I can tell you three excellent things about this Courtyard 1. Location was amazing 2. The view from our room was amazing 3. The size of our room was amazing Now what and why we felt this is not a standard Marriott Courtyard 1. We paid for the biggest room they offered it was a 2 room suite there was no clock in the bedroom and the living room had two small chairs and one oversized no couch so watching TV to rest for a bit was out of the question. Tons of empty space in the living room. 2. We had two queen beds they started us out with 3 bath towels one wash cloth and one hand towel ???? Not even enough had to ask two days in a row for towels. 3. The in room coffee pot was a joke seriously if they paid $5 they overpaid it is a single cup plastic piece of crap that did not work more then it is and once again not enough coffee ~ cups ~ and they had packets of dry creamer not liquid???? 4. The fridge they sat on the counter top??? Fridge was very small and we had to keep hitting the refresh button every 2 hours to keep it chilled. 5. Never any ice on any floors 6. Housekeeping never came had to call for basic stuff like bed made take away used towels and clean trash 7. Tried to enjoy the pool 2x and was unable they only have I think 12 to 15 loungers 8. All staff seemed like they did not want to be there. My husband had to go to the bar to get ice and the bartender said he wanted to quit tonight as a guest was rude to him (I can see why this hotel can be sooo much more) 9. We to the roof bar waited for 15 minutes and no service walked out 10. My husband and I ordered each a beer at the lobby bar and the bar tender puts two cans on the counter and never offers to open them up ~ that was personally a first for me. The Hilton across the street on the beach is ALOT nicer from the outside and the pool area. We are long time Marriott members and try to stay at Marriotts where ever we go but for the money we paid it totally was a HUGE disappointment.

Wanted an overnight get-away from Tampa. Great experience. Princess at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. She was patient and very great with my daughter. Valet folks were great. Room was very big- was not expecting such a big room on the beach. Every side of the hotel has great views. Walkable to so many cute places and close enough to the beach to make it an easy walk with a few items. Enjoyed our stay - will be sure to stay a few days next time.

My hotel room window overlooked the marina and the bay. Very nice view. Our kids loved the pool. Adults enjoyed the rooftop bar. The staff were professional and attentive. Front desk employee Mikeia was very helpful and resolved all of the quirky/ difficult requirements that my family requested. She really made the stay much better.

Probably the best and sweetest front desk person I've ever encountered! Her name was Mikeia!! Above and Beyond! In 2024 it's seems like people like her don't exist anymore, but they do! So f refreshing! Let's get back to more customer service like this!

The hotel and the staff are excellent. Hotel has a decent equipments, very luxurious and comfortable rooms, and very good staff, the pillows and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, great personality.
