GOOD POINTS: This hotel is very well-located in central Vancouver. Check-in was seamless and professional. Concierge attended to our requests timely and politely. View from high floor was of city, but still wonderful. Robes and umbrella in room. Big TV. Great large desk. Large windows to maximise view. BAD POINTS: (a) The double beds are way too narrow. Hyatt should have queen beds as standard. We had to pay for a roll-away for two nights because we could not fit two tall but slim adults in a bed without extreme spooning; (b) Only paper cups were provided in our room for in-room coffee/tea, and no kettle if you just want tea. Not sustainable, despite the apparent focus on that; (c) Our room smelled of weed. Hard to tell if that was coming through the a/c vents or embedded in the curtains; and (d) the latest bathroom renovation has black tiles which look naturally dirty, and only a ceiling-mounted shower with no option for hand-held.

Great central location, large rooms, friendly staff, shuttle to Capilano Bridge & Whistler Coach and taxi right outside door is a fabulous, free wifi and Starbucks in foyer very handy for grabbing a drink on your way out for a day of sightseeing, restaurant on site was great. Would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends that visit Vancouver

I had a very pleasant stay at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. The staff were great—friendly, professional, and attentive. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around the city, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A solid choice for both business and leisure stays.

I took my fiancé here on our way home after getting engaged in jasper. And it is a beautiful hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with making our stay as special as possible I added the celebration package with lest the 24 hrs notice and they got it done. I requested a high floor and they got us on the 15th. I will never forget how amazing the hotel was. Perfect location. Delicious food.

Had a wonderful experience! From booking to checkout it was so smooth! Loved the ease and convenience of the app! And the location was perfect and the staff was extremely friendly! I have stayed in a few hotels downtown for small getaways and this might be the best.
