Low standards

the+ Good situation Starbucks at the ground floor + 2 restaurants Large bathroom Modern and Clean the- Toilet paper is awful Bad insulation: could hear toilet flushing and people coughing Didn't realise that an hotel 4* can sell a room for 4 people with 2 double beds for $500! To remember: a double bed is less than 140cms so if you like to be stucked it's ok. I have been travelling all over the world and never seen that before! It's Hyatt standard, they said...
Reopen the executive lounge

A decent Hyatt Regency situated in a very good location. The reason why I am giving three stars only is for the lack of an executive lounge. For a Hyatt located in a busy financial district it is inconceivable to me why they did not reopen their executive lounge after Covid. Rooms are clean and look like they have been recently renovated, but rather basic and obviously not on the level of higher end hotels. There is a fantastic French bakery with awesome coffee just a couple blocks away on Thurlow. Hyatt has some of the most attractive points redemptions for their rooms. If they could only reopen the executive lounge, this would be almost a no-brainer for me.
Everything Awesome!

Awesome friendly staff. Great location to visit Vancouver and you can then take an easy walk to Cruise Ship Port. Awesome Fitness Center to do CrossFit style workouts. Clean. We LOVED the hike challenge in climbing the 34 flights of stairs.
Fantastic Hotel and Staff

Everyone from bell staff to front desk staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. I'd strongly recommend this hotel. The bell staff gave us some coupons to save money at local attractions and also gave us some other tips to save money.
Satisfying

The building, in general, is in good condition except for this little thing: the bath tub was very small and shallow. Also, the room I stayed had this random door that connects to the next room is like zero-soundproof. I ended up checking out early cuz I couldn't sleep due to baby's crying all night.
