We paid for an upgraded balcony room and Regency Club privileges. We were assigned to room 3101 with a large balcony; it had 2 chairs a table, and spectacular views (partial harbor and nice sunrise). Room had a Keurig-style coffeemaker plus 6 K-Cups (Rainforest brand) replenished daily with excellent housekeeping. Mini frig had 2 cans of water with a price tag of $4 (complimentary for Discoverist, Explorist, or Globalist status Hyatt Rewards). There are filtered refill stations for your personal water bottles on the four lower floors of the hotel. Wi Fi is complimentary. Self parking is $52 per night, Valet Parking is $79 per night (operating 7 am to 12 midnight), and mandatory fees added an additional CAD$ 112.39 to a base room price of CAD$543.60. TV offered 67 channels including many sports, both Canadian and U.S. Local news from maybe 4 Seattle stations. Nice outdoor pool had a hot tub for about 6 people and a unique outdoor "barrel style sauna" that also could hold maybe 8 people. Bed comfortable, linens and towels in great shape, HVAC quiet and efficient, high quality Pharmacopia toiletries in the bathroom, plenty of outlets for charging. Bathroom has magnifying mirror. Closet had combination safe, umbrella, 2 bathrobes, extra blanket and pillow. The Regency Club was very well appointed and not crowded, offering Continental Breakfast for 4 hours and Hors D'oeuvres and Desserts for 3 hours daily. The host explained that Globalists have free admittance but all others must pay an additional fee. In my candid opinion, the upcharge is not worth the limited options provided but it did provide a restful option away from the crowds when the hotel is busy. Alcoholic beverages are EXTRA although there are four choices of canned soft drinks, several juices, and several kinds of milk. The 2 fancy coffee machines were clearly one of the best benefits of the lounge, which is located adjacent to the Cloudstreet Restaurant on the 2nd Floor. Continental Breakfast "hot options" were Bacon, Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Potatoes ... though they were lukewarm both mornings we ate there. Three types of fresh sweet pastries were good. Evening hor d'oeuvres were interesting with a sushi Shumai, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Spicy Calabresi, Pork Chorizo, Applewood Smoked Cheddar Cheese, & Savory Tart Shell Chickpea Hummus Fresh Cut Vegetable Furikake. Also some veggies and sweets. Hotel incredibly well situated for out of town visitors like us, only a 3 block walk from the Skytrain "City Center" station with direct service from YVR airport. Also just a few blocks from the harbor and Canada Place. Multiple restaurants in the neighborhood Multiple restaurants in the neighborhood including a Tim Horton's and McDonalds and Starbucks immediately adjacent to the hotel. Staff were very nice from desk clerks to housekeeping. I would enjoy returning but only if the room rate and added fees fit my budget relative to the nearby competition.

Awesome stay! Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. Friendly staff. Super clean and modern hotel. Numerous restaurant options within the hotel. The location is central to some of the best attractions in downtown Vancouver.

The comfort and tidiness of our room was perfect ! Starbucks and car rental located in the hotel made it even better! And the location was just perfect - close to train station and downtown!

Great central location, decent sized rooms, we had a connecting one which was great. Facilities were lovely & great housekeeping too. The beds were so comfortable

The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and check-in was easy. However, I would not recommend paying extra for lounge access, as it is simply not worth the price. The upgrade costs CAD $125 per day, which I consider overpriced for what is offered. The breakfast selection was very limited, with scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, and a small variety of bread, bagels, muffins, and croissants. There were only two small coffee machines, and the tiny beverage refrigerator was frequently out of canned drinks, so I had to ask the staff for soda. The evening hors d'oeuvres were also disappointing, with very few choices, including egg rolls, potato balls, and some vegetables. Overall, while the room and service were satisfactory, the lounge offerings did not justify the additional CAD $125 per day. Save your money and skip the lounge access.
