Great hotel, but the best part was the staff in the restaurant and bar. Server Shane was awesome and bartender Connor was too. Made it a fun experience while we were hanging out at the hotel! Shane even brought a special treat to help celebrate our mom's birthday. Highly recommend
Old dirty hotel

We checked into the Sheraton as one of many hotels as part of our tour of Canada. The tour and hotels was booked by a travel agent so I didn’t book it directly. First impressions were not good as a large man was laid fast asleep using his back pack as a pillow in the main lobby. We would have thought he would be moved on and not left there. On getting to our room we were shocked to see how old, stale smelling, dark and dirty it was. The bathroom had stains on the floor tiles and grout and an old dried up contact lens stuck to the picture. There was no way we would have spent anytime in the hotel lobby or room. We complained about the cleaning issues but it wasn’t rectified so we checked straight out. Also to note if you leave this hotel by the lower lobby entrance/exit it is directly on a street used by the homeless and drug users of Vancouver. There is a big problem in the city with drug takers on many of the streets and we were warned by a local tour guide to avoid certain area. Thankfully The Fairmont Pacific Rim had a beautiful, clean room available for us - top tip is to stay at The Fairmont Pacific Rim. Do not book the Sheraton.
