WORST TRIP EVER

This resort has deteriorated so much in the last 2 years since we were here last. We have been here 8x and this will be our last. I got food poisoning on day 3 (we had not eaten off the resort prior to me waking up at 3am and being sick out every hole possible.) We've since eaten off the resort over 10x so far trip.(the kiki club 6x) . We had no hot water in our room (apparently the whole resort doesn't either) I went to turn the hot water on for a shower and nothing came out...zero water, When trying to have a coffee in the morning at the lobby bar, it is hit and miss as to whether or not the machine will be working. Do you like sprite or coke to go with your rum? No carbonated water for the last 2 days. They offer flat coke(syrup) for mix. The buffet station where the food sits is usually cold.....not hot (unless they just placed it out there). Another guest went to complain to the manager about no hot water and he doesn't speak English and has to have a staff member to translate for them. (I'm not trusting a office staff member to explain my frustrations without me knowing exactly what they are saying). The staff is great for the most part, but that alone is not enough to keep me coming back anymore. After posting this review, my next step is to share it with Sunwing and let them do what they need to do in regards to offering this resort as a travel resort option.

We just returned from a 2 week holiday on December 18th. 2024. This is an older hotel but is kept clean. We had a variety of fresh food every meal. The fresh bread daily is delicious. The pools were clean. The entrainment crew are fun . The shows were good. The location is great. Walk the main street easy. Bus stop outside front door. The beach is absolutely awesome. Lots of loungers. Check-in and out were great. We had hot water and electricity every day.
