If you’re considering a stay, I highly recommend upgrading to the Fairmont Gold rooms. The service is exceptional, and the team goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Aarsh, Sarah, and Kenneth deserve special recognition for their professionalism and attentive care. During our visit, we did encounter a minor issue with an undercooked chicken dish at the restaurant. While the manager said it was due to the meat’s natural color. I still believe it is undercooked as it appeared pink and tasted underdone (like blood). That said, this incident was far outweighed by the outstanding service provided by the Fairmont Gold team, which truly made our stay worthwhile.

We booked into the Fairmont as a nice place to stay before moving to join the family over Christmas. Given our past experience of Winnipeg hotels, we weren’t expecting a lot. So we were delighted to find the Fairmont. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were invariably professional and helpful, and the restaurant and room service were excellent. An added bonus was the hotel’s connection to the underground/overground pedestrian network so we didn’t have to go out into the sub zero temperatures. Problems were few. The steam room was a bit cold; our safe was broken but quickly repaired. We will happily stay here again

Visiting family in Manitoba. Took a couple of days of relaxation in Winnipeg on the Fairmont Gold Floor and a trip to the nearby Thermea Nordik Spa. 19 Floor view of Portage and Main. The highlight was the excellent care by the Team at Gold Reception and Lounge. Thanks in particular to Aarsh and Noah. Housekeeping was also excellent and when a room visit overlapped with servicing, she personally notified us in the lounge when our servicing of our room was completed. Could not be happier.

The Fairmont experience is always good. And better when you try Fairmont Gold. This is my favorite hotel in Winnipeg. Besides the Gold floor, there are still some rooms to be renewed. After that is done, I believe it can be the best hotel to stay in Winnipeg.

Booked Gold Rooms at the Fairmont Winnipeg for a special family occasion. These are lovely rooms, and give access to the Executive Lounge on the 19th floor of the hotel. The hotel is first rate, and the staff in the Executive Lounge are absolutely amazing. Very comfy bed in nice bedrooms all contributed to a very good stay in downtown Winnipeg. There is parking next to hotel in the Richardson Centre Garage. Note that the pay station for the garage is in the basement mall of the Fairmont.
