Loved the updated to the food and the resort

Martin K on Dec 06, 2025

Our group of 22 went for a birthday celebration (have been doing that for the last 12 years) from the time we contacted the Divi back in March through our entire stay the staff was extremely helpful. All of the servers were extremely friendly but I have to give a special shout out to Jennifer who went above and beyond every day. The recent updates to the resort are awesome and the food has definitely been moved up a notch with the flavors and plating. Thank you so much for the wonderful week. Marty from Marty's Party.

The management in Divi Aruba all inclusive needs improvements a lot people on reception desk and reservations super rude and unprofessional waitresses and cleaning people extremely friendly and nice on a beach a lot of people without hotel bracelet they took space and quests limited but management does not care to change a towel mission impossible one common bathroom a mess and construction all over the place but on Divi website nothing about that beach itself beautiful very clear water food is average my conclusion NOT Recommend

Hotel is not worth it

JeffWalsh (New Jersey) on Nov 27, 2025

This is our 5th year staying at the divi all inclusive. Hotel has gone down hill. Zero level of service, from the front desk to the restaurant waiters they all act like you are bothering them. Food quality has gone down each year. Food is subpar is all restaurants. Drinks in the bar are junk. This hotel has gone from a 4* experience to a 2* hotel over the past few years. Even if you speak to a manager they treat you rudely and don’t care. Go to the Riu instead.

The sunsets were absolutely stunning

I absolutely loved my stay at the Divi Aruba Resort! It’s a smaller resort than I initially expected, but the great thing is you also have access to the nearby Tamarijn Aruba Resort, which makes it feel like you're getting the best of both worlds. You can use their facilities and enjoy some incredible restaurants. Honestly, the food in Aruba was hands down the best I've ever had on a vacation. I’ve been to places like Mexico, the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, and the Dominican Republic, but the culinary experience here was on another level. The only real downside I found at the Divi was that, even though it’s an all-inclusive resort, there were no snacks or drinks in the room fridge, which I’ve experienced at other resorts. I couldn’t find even a bottle of water or a simple snack like chips in the room. If you want snacks, you have to walk to the Tamarijn’s gift shop, which has a great selection of drinks, snacks, gifts, sunscreen, etc. Unfortunately, the Divi gift shop only had clothing, so that’s something they should definitely consider changing. Another minor issue was some construction work happening around the resort. It didn’t bother us too much, but it was an eyesore, and it would’ve been nice to know about it before booking. Also, the pool area’s floor was extremely slippery when wet and incredibly hot when dry, so definitely watch your step. I heard from some regulars that they’re working on a solution for this, so hopefully, that gets addressed soon. On the positive side, my mom and I loved the beach! The sunsets were absolutely stunning—like nothing I’ve seen anywhere else. We also booked a couple of excursions through the front desk, and they were fantastic. My mom, who's 65, and I, at 37, did the UTV tour, and it was amazing to see her light up like a kid again while we whipped around the island. We also did the Palms Island tour, which was a longer day trip to a small island with snorkeling, scuba diving, flamingos (which I loved!), and a fun inflatable water obstacle course. Just a heads-up, though—if you're planning to do the Palms Island tour, avoid booking it when the cruise ships are docked, as the traffic was a nightmare. The alcohol and food on the island tour were decent but not amazing, so I’d recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks for that trip. Overall, I had an unforgettable time in Aruba and would definitely return. However, I’d probably stay at the Tamarijn next time, as it’s a little more updated and offers a more modern experience.

Sad

Well it’s broken down for one! There’s no room service! The one bar on the beach isn’t Included! I’ve been to resorts wayyy better than this. I’m actually upset I spent $5000 for mostly nothing except making friends. Food basic.. and it’s not good, no room service! I’ve never been too and all inclusive that didn’t offer it. Our room we upgraded .. yea nothing like I spent less money on. It is what it is, I will have a great time. But I honestly will never come back here!
