Convenient location and helpful staff

This place is so lovely to stay, but the staff make the place the guys at the bar are really helpful. Especially Jamar for letting me know about the mosquitos and getting me the citronella! The security staff when you enter are very helpful too! Breakfast was very samey, would love to have more Bajan options. The place is like a bit of a maze to get to your room but a lovely trip.
WORTH EVERY PENNY

Couldn’t fault a thing. The rooms are lovely, the beds are so comfortable and the staff truly make this hotel something special. There is a variety of food and drinks available, with multiple dining choices within the hotel and entertainment most nights. To make the most of the stay, get involved! Ramon, the activities coordinator, puts on many events throughout the day, from bingo to karaoke and even cocktail making. He is very engaging, and will do everything to ensure the guests are engaged. A shout out to Alicia, one of the lovely servers in the hotel. She is always smiling and knows how to get the guests dancing! She made our stay extra special, along with many other staff members. I could write and write about each individual person and how friendly they are. You will never forget the people you meet at this wonderful hotel. We are already looking to book for next year.
Truly disappointing

After months of anticipation, this was a truly disappointing stay for us. Although some people clearly love this hotel, our experience echoes many others here. * The hotel is advertised as being a 4 star but it clearly isn’t - maybe a 3 star at best.. * The hotel is advertised as having 3 restaurants. But there was regularly only 1 of the 3 open each night, so no real choice at all. * Food offer at buffets was generally poor e.g. the salad bar consisted of a bowl of lettuce with beetroot one night or coleslaw the next, accompanied by mayonnaise or thousand island dressing….and that was it. BBQ nights were good though. * Parts of the grounds/pool had access restricted by taped off areas, where maintenance was needed, for days and days on end. * The hotel has 2 lifts but 1 wasn’t working for the 2 weeks we were there and the other was regularly being used by hotel cleaning/maintenance staff, so be prepared for long waits. * As others have said, some of the staff were very friendly and helpful. But others, oh dear, they were just surly and behaved as if they didn’t want to be there. We didn’t get a “hello, good morning or how are you” from some staff we’d see every day, for the 2 weeks we were there. It’s the first holiday in memory where we’d have come home early, if we could have without incurring additional costs. Truly disappointing.

I have been to the Savannah several times and always enjoyed our stay , The hotel it self is old but always spotless room old fashioned but really nice . We had a beachfront room wonderful views wonderful sunset s .Always a lovely atmosphere staff always ready to help .A few new arrivals like the the customer liaison manger “ Ramon “ very helpful and entertaining man . The only downside l would say is it’s almost impossible to walk straight into the sea from the hotel hopefully back next year .
