No AC, no notice, no compensation.

No AC at all. Waited in line for at least 45 minutes in the heat for them to tell me the AC had been out of service for “4-5 days”. It was a trip between my child and I only and we wouldn’t be able to cope without AC in the summer in Cancun. The humidity was awful. I then spent nearly 2 hours trying to find another place to go. As you can imagine, that was very difficult on a Friday in July (peak season). They did offer to pay for another, comparable, hotel but finding one so last minute was extremely difficult. We ended up on the south end of the hotel zone where the beach is not swimmable due to extreme waves. We specifically booked this hotel as it was on the northern side with more tranquil waters for a 9 year old to swim in. I handled it all over the phone with customer service as the staff at the hotel were understandably overwhelmed. I understand these things happen but, if they knew the AC was out days before we arrived, some notice would have been nice. I would have also appreciated a credit or some sort of compensation for our troubles. I Feel bad for those who are stuck there without AC! I was dripping with sweat within 10 minutes of waiting in line. Oh- and no transportation was offered. Instead of paying $25 for a taxi, we took the bus with all our luggage. Not the greatest start to our holiday.

Not fun vacation at Krystal Grand.

I gave this place a 1 star ??. The only thing I like was our Expedia Rep. I have read bad reviews about this hotel, and didn't believe them that was my mistake. We had no AC the whole time we were there. It cooler outside than our room. The reservation thing was not great for you all inclusive. If the restaurant is booked then you need to find somewhere else to eat. The buffet wasn't great. I kept seeing people grabbing their food with their hands. They would also grab stuff then put it back. Another issue I had was I stepped on glass in my room. I would show the pictures, but I cannot add them on here. I'm not one to really complain, but this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. I would not recommend this place.

JAHIR IS THE BEST FREAKING BARTENDER EVER!!!!WE LOVE HIM I PRAISE THIS MAN!! THE BAR IN THE LOBBY IS AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!! He is so funny and so good at making drinks I swear he makes the best drinks in this resort! Dang and ecuardo are so good at the ayami/hibachi restaurant!

Eduardo & Daniel were great in giving us a great service during our dinner. Both are very professional, friendly & very attentive. We were happy with food & service, I recommend this restaurant on your visit Definitely we will be back if we are coming To Cancun

Ocean is nice water crystal clear not dirty.Food is excellent.The rooms are ok no air conditioning in the entire hotel since last week.Ower room was 30 degrees hot and sticky Complaint to the manager nothing to do last time I'm coming here.Cancun is the place to be.
