This was my 3rd time at Paradisus Cancun (2015, 2021, and 2024.) This is one of my most favorite beaches. You can walk or run for miles. The water is so many shades of beautiful blue and clear. It was easy to get a beach chair, as I don't sit by the pool for long usually, and I prefer to get out to the beach early after breakfast. The staff doesn't limit you to just one towel, which is a great perk! As my mother and I choose to spend most of our time on the beach, we have to commend Ivan the Lifeguard and his coworkers for making our time more enjoyable. Ivan was always every day, going above and beyond to help guest have a safe and enjoyable time in the water. But he wins the award for helping my Mom feel safe enough to go a few steps in the ocean with him!! She wanted to go in the ocean, but was afraid and got dizzy. But he took her hand and helped her. We are both so very grateful for him taking the time to do that for her! Every day, we saw Ivan go out of his way, to help a guest find something they lost, stay away from the rocks. and even take photos for them safely. Cancun is very lucky to have him! We also had a great time with Gaudencio, the beach server. He made us feel welcome from day one, was entertaining, and was always on top of our food and drink orders every day. All of the lifegaurds and beach servers truly made our trip so enjoyable!! We felt like we were visiting friends all week! The Nespresso Bar in the lobby just as you enter from the beach was my favorite new addition to Paradisus. Perfect idea! My favorite restaurant was Blue Agave, because the tacos are delicious! Every year I come, it is my favorite restaurant I have to go to more than twice! Flora and Cielito were our other favorites!! Lemon Fish was a great atmosphere, and the food was good too. We enjoyed the buffet for breakfast, but weren't a fan for dinner. The quesadillas, chicken wings, and chips & guacamole were our go to lunches on the beach! The ocean was clear and gorgeous! The beach was beautiful and maintained. The pool water was warm but the pool was crowded. The staff were so fun and friendly! The rooms were clean and air-conditioning cold. Our lagoon view room was had the best sunsets every night! My only complaint is that check-in is always a disaster, and anytime you need something from the front desk, it's a super long wait. Location is also great if you like to travel off the resort. Aqua World is in walking distance, and jetskiing in the lagoon was so fun! It's super easy and only 12 pesos to take the bus downtown, which stops right in front of Paradisus. Once again, I had a great time at Paradisus, and I'll be back!

Jorge was the best at lemon fish! Always ask for him when you go to Paradisus Cancun. The Chef Marcos and Chef Fernanda made excellent dishes! Thank you making our dining experience better each night! We will come again asking for you my friend!

Javier was very friendly and attentive . He brought us a variety of drinks at the beach, promptly and accurately. The service overall was excellent! We got a taste of the best Tequila in Mexico! The customer service was second to none and the outstanding services exceeded our expectations.

Our first time to Mexico we wanted to try a very nice place. Paradisus had plenty of good reviews. We booked the king lagoon view room and away we went. Upon arrival we were greeted quickly and got to our room. After not even 2 days we were at a list of 7 things that were wrong with the room or other services. Certainly not the 4.5 star resort I had read about. (Shower not working, wall outlets not working, asking multiple times for the additional patio chair, unfilled mini bar, etc.) Realizing that we had 5 more days, I certainly wasn't going to just keep accepting a 2 star quality experience. I discussed with my wife that in the morning I wanted to address the situation with the staff. I proceeded to guest services the next morning hopefully to find a solution and the nice resort we thought we booked. I was greeted by Alonso Sandoval at the guest services desk. He listened attentively to my concerns and watched the brief videos I took of my concerns. He said he was here to help and improve our experience. He offered a few solutions, but I said we would like to move rooms. He took my number and said he could arrange for a better room. A few hours later he was in contact and said he made arrangements for a better room with an ocean view, and a few nice" birthday touches" for the inconvenience. He came to the room with us to make sure we were satisfied. We were, and we thanked him for his kindness and ability to improve our stay. Excellent service. With that handled onto the review of the rest of the property. Staff. Very good. Everyone kind, polite, happy to help and friendly. Pool. Very nice and clean. As usual, way too many unfilled day beds and not enough chairs for regular seating. Good bar service at the pool. Beach area. Beautiful and clean. Common areas. Decent, needs some maintenance, but clean. Housekeeping. Good. No problems Mini Bar refill. Inconsistent. Some days by 3pm, one day none, another time at 9pm. Restaurants. Inconsistent. Some very good, others hard pass. Buffet and Lemon Fish were both terrible. Surprised how bad Lemon Fish was as we are not food critics, it was just that bad. I advised the very nice server that the food was of poor quality, and he even told us they have been having trouble and needed a new head chef. SKIP Lemon fish. Sante for birthday dinner, was excellent. Blue Agave. Good small plate items and tacos. Went a few times. Pool Patio pizza and ice cream. Good. went a few times. Agua Marina. went for lunch, it was ok. Did not go back and not for dinner as the dinner menu was not at all to our liking. Capella. Very good. Went twice for dinner and very delicious both times. Room service. Hard pass. SKIP, Do Not order. Ginger Bar. Very good. Fun bartenders, and a good mix of people and vibes. Overall review is that we had a nice time. The better and properly functioning room made a big improvement in our stay. The food offerings were way to inconsistent in food quality, but we didn't go hungry. We will likely try somewhere else next time as Paradisus was nice, but not a stay there again nice. Also, because we are new to traveling and want to keep trying new places. Hope this was helpful. The best thing about our trip was our Concierge, George (well, and the view)He was amazing! He gets 5 stars! He was absolutely wonderful and treated us like royalty. Check in-The hotel did not give us the correct room, gave us a one bed room for 3 girls and it took all afternoon to get us in the correct room, we were suppose to be in a junior suite. The electricity in the bathroom went out every time we used a blow dryer, with 3 girls, a problem. Food and drink overall gets a 3.5 out of 5. Pool closes too early@7pm. We did make reservations through Water World for excursions, we received 3 for 161.00 a person, a GREAT value. Diego took care of us and he was also Wonderful! It was the people who made this trip worth it. 4 days was not enough time.
