The rooms were dated and could use some refresh. There were entertainments and activities to do throughout the day. Every worker there was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Special thanks to our concierge, Daniela, who listened to our concerns and went up and beyond to make things right. She also helps us made last minute reservations and check in on us daily to make sure we are doing good.

This resort is worst than a dumpster fire. At checkin the young lady who’s checking us in was on the phone the entire time which took over half hour ; my room number was in 3000 which I assume was on the 3 rd floor. On the way bell hop is explaining all the restaurants are in the lower level where I’ll be staying at first I did not understood him so I asked him to repeat himself. Which he reiterated I’ll be in the basement; I stopped him and asks him to take me back to the checkin since I paid for a king junior suite with a lagoon view. The audacity of this check in attendant without asking or discussing where she was putting me to stay. When I got back to checkin another young lady was there; claimed she couldn’t give the room I booked. After going back and forth she became extremely rude referring to me as LADY keeping on telling me she cannot accommodate me meanwhile acting as if she’s doing me a favor by giving me any room.
Finally I asked for a manager she found a king junior suite lagoon view in the 3rd pyramid. On the way to the room elevator has no light, hallways are dimly lit and felt quite unsafe. The new room was the biggest disappointment its stunk of cleaning solution, beyond outdated and old, outlets did not work and the balcony was disgustingly dirty. Spoke to the manager again at 7.00 pm we were finally accommodated in the first pyramid with double beds with a promise of a king room the next day. This room was an upgrade from the last one. We went to get dinner at 8.00 pm none of the restaurants were accepting more guest for the evening so we dined at the subpar buffet. During the evening the power went off we called the front desk we we were told we did not know how to use the light switches and someone would be up shortly to show up NO ONE EVER came or checked on us. We were told the new room would be ready at 3.30 pm the next day; leave your bags in the old room and it will be moved. Our bags were never moved we had to do it our selves.
At beach on a daily basis not enough chairs and umbrellas unless you were willing to fork out $220.00 per day. I will never go back to this resort neither will I ever recommend anyone to stay there. I absolutely hate this resort it’s my 8-9 time to Cancun and last last stay at the paradisus Cancún.

STAY CLEAR!! THEY MIGHT ERASE THIS REVIEW. We stayed from Sunday to Friday we ignored all the little problems like wifi out for two days electricity outage at night but by the by the 4th day we all started to get stomach aches. We had 10 ppl and the adults and children all got food poisoning. We are all medical professionals and thankfully we brought medication. Spent our nights on the toilets and had to run back n forth from the pool or beach to the toilet. Cockroaches in two restaurants and definitely don’t eat the sushi or the burgers. The service was amazing the management is horrible and will ignore you. They wouldn’t allow us to speak to the general manager and kept avoiding it so they sent Mr. Ataury (a resident manager in his twenties probably) doesn’t know how to care for his guests. Leaks from the floor above us flooded in front of our rooms. Management (Mr Jose Ataury kept trying to offer us to come back for a complimentary voucher to which I expressed to him that I will not want to return to a place that we all got food poisoning from. I DONT KNOW WOULD YOU?
While entertainment department was great, the service was definitely lacking and rooms were not up to par.

Rooms smelled of mold and we had water issues outside our room that caused several people in our party to slip and fall and no one really did much about it after bringing it to managements attention. Our larger party was not accommodated at Capella, which originally we were fine with to splitting up however then they would seat other large parties. Staff was selective in who they would accommodate and who they wouldn't. The gift shops were vastly overpriced and everything was an upsell so definitely be cautious and ake sure to bring the lotions, sunscreens, aloe, kids floaties, etc that you need if you come here otherwise they take advantage and charge 10x more.

Really good service and hospitality at the hotel and all the facilities. The adult side was great and peaceful. Everything was good. Especially the treatment we had from Karina and Salvador from the Kanna night bar! Nice peoptle that make your night good! Thank you very much and greetings from Holland/Turkey
