The Curaçao Marriott is an annual trip for us

FSheckie (Connecticut) on Jan 11, 2026

This was our TENTH VISIT to this resort. The reason? The people, from management (Romy Krijger and Payola Santos) to the bell staff (especially Bryan), you feel like you are welcomed into your home away from home. The people here understand the meaning of hospitality. We typically stay in one of their suites. My only complaint is there is no shade on the balcony and the sun can be brutal. Like a lot of resorts, there could be more beach chairs. All that aside, their beach remains one of the best hotel beaches for snorkeling ANYWHERE in the world. The staff is great, the buffet breakfasts very good. If you want an island where you don’t have to worry about hurricanes and the natives are welcoming, Curaçao is where you want to be.

It is a shame

Robert1965222 on Jan 04, 2026

This hotel is extremely badly managed. Amazing why it has relatively good reviews. It started with the check in procedure. We arrived after a trip of more than 13 hours at 5pm local time at the hotel to be told that our room was not ready. It took them 1.5 hrs to make our room ready. The rooms and staircases are poorly cleaned. Sand all over. The breakfast procedure is a disaster. People have to wait 30-45 to be seated. Everyday a struggle to get your breakfast. The scenery of hotel is nice though and staff is doing their best.

Strong reco for Curacao Marriott Beach Resort

Andy M (Westchester County, New York) on Jan 03, 2026

We were there over Christmas week. Overall, this was a very good experience and I highly recommend . The Good: The staff is excellent. Front desk, bellmen, housekeeping, beach and pool staff and the entire food and beverage staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. We actually had a very difficult exchange with group of guests that unapologetically took our beach chairs that I had claimed early in the morning while we went for breakfast. The staff went out of their way to make this situation better...above and beyond. The rooms are very clean and have a lot of storage that is very functional. If you like snorkeling, there is a dive shop at the end of the beach with access to a reef restoration area that you swim to that was really excellent. The food was mostly good. Sushi restaurant in the lobby is very good. The JFK steakhouse is good but expensive. The Salty Iguana (pool/beachside) is really the only lunch option (there is a marketplace with food too that is ok) but has a limited menu. At night, it turns into a nice beachfront dinner place. The service in all locations is excellent. The other: This is a smaller to mid-sized resort so not a ton of food options. The beach is very nice but can be a bit rocky in locations. Bring water shoes and all is good. With good proximity to Willemstad, getting off property is easy so take advantage.

Exceptional Service

Joanna F on Jan 03, 2026

We stayed at the Marriott beach resort for four nights over NYE. The views from the lobby and the pool were spectacular. Town was a quick 10-15 minute taxi ride away. The best part of our stay was the service. We had three fantastic bartenders at Salty’s during the day - Jaymy, Jurien and Principo. The wait staff at Salty’s on the beach in the evening was also phenomenal and very patient with our 3 year old son. The highlight of our trip was Heavenly at the JFK Steakhouse. She watched our son while he ran around the restaurant so that we could eat. She managed to be present for other guests while also helping us keep from losing our minds! We could not be more pleased with the service at the Marriott in Curacao and would not hesitate to return.

Individually owned

Individually owned and unresponsive management. Your ambassador.status means nothing here. Prepare to be strung along. Save your points and book somewhere else.
