We had a wonderful 6 night stay at the Westin. Staff were professional, helpful, and always willing to assist or problem solve. The rooms were very comfortable and large enough. The beach front access is among the best - lots of room for swimming, a snorkel spot just off the beach, and plenty of sports gear to rent. We rented snorkel gear, underwater cameras, jet skis, paddle boards and a kayak. The pool was cleaned each morning and is warm. The swim up bar is very convenient and a great place to meet new friends. We tried all of the restaurants. We aren’t big breakfast eaters and there is a coffee shop on site with bagels and fruit that we frequented most mornings. We saw they were showing the Sound of Music for movie night and thought “how silly!” Then most of our party wound up watching!! It was really a lovely resort and we would come back again in a heartbeat.

Sherlando at kids club made this stay the BEST! Give this man a raise and a promotion! He had the kids entertained all day and then was there at night for family game night! While there I witnessed 4 people coming up to compliment him and the kids were like magnets to him. My kids who are very shy and never leave my side were happy to leave me and stay with him as he entertained them with games. He is an asset to the Westin experience. We will be back!!

Wonderful service on the beach...the beach manager, Mike, stopped by to say hello. We felt as if we were Caymanian insiders...thanks Mike. Plenty of chairs, reasonably priced drinks ( for Cayman) and professional service...thanks for a great week. Dill

Stayed for a week in early April. Before going I read several reviews that stated the property was in need of an update. Worn rugs, pool chair cushions were dirty etc. in reality the resort is just fine. Sure there are some minor things that could be attended to such as some carpet cleaning and paint touch up but nothing big. Also read several reviews mentioning mold smells in the rooms. Again, in my opinion and from speaking to other guests NOT ONE said anything about mold smells, me included. Look this is a very nice resort on one of the best beaches in the world. Pricey? Yes, but that’s what you pay on Seven Mile Beach. Service was very good at the pool AND pool chairs were not hard to find morning or afternoon. Overall it was a great place to spend a week of vacation.

The good - The location can’t be beat. Beach is beautiful. The food at hotel is above average. The staff were excellent across the board. They do a great job given the high volume of this property. The bad - The rooms, hallways, elevators etc. are definitely in need of some investment. The pool and beach amenities are strained. Very difficult to find a chair at beach or pool. If you are looking for a family beach vacation, this is a decent option. Highly recommend avoiding peak season if you want to relax!
