After reading reviews I was a little afraid of our choice to stay here. We paid for a premium room with a falls view of the US and Canadian falls. I had done a little research and heard you needed to be high up to see the falls well. The Fallsview Casino and resort is in front of the Hilton, not part of it and separate. This hotel depending on level and position could block your view of the Horseshoe Falls. I was impressed not only at the service when we arrived at 11 am and was pleasantly greeted by a young man at the desk who was able to put us in a room far before check in (and late check out) and was very welcoming. The room was nice and clean. The view was amazing. We were on the 41st floor of the North Tower and to the right of the elevator, I am not sure if you moved toward the left of the elevators if your view could be blocked by the Fallsview Resort. The Hilton gives a night before checkin and choose your room option. The hotel is connected to the Fallsview Casino parking garage which is cheaper than the Hilton parking ($60 Canadian upon exit (no in and out privileges) and we parked for 24 hours -Hilton self parking on Friday was $80 CAD). The Casino is connected at floor 5 of parking garage to the enclosed walkway to Hilton. There is also a walkway that will take you to the lobby floor of the Casino. Plenty of great places in the area to eat as well. The area felt safe for walking and was a great area to stay in. Easy walking to falls, Skylon, Clifton Hill, and around the area. No need to drive if you don’t mind walking. In my opinion, you are paying for the location and the view. The hotel itself though did not appear tired or in need of updating. It was clean. In addition, I received 4 texts throughout a 24 hour stay from the hotel asking if all was ok and telling me how to get complaints answered. We had none so not sure how the complaint process worked but certainly they were available if I had any. Highly recommend!

Safe in room did not work. The bathroom had hair in tub snd on floor. Cleaning lady rolled her eyes when we asked about safe. The back of remote missing. Phone in room did not work. Curtains in hallways near elevator ripped. Spoke to manager Al and he did not care. Parking expensive to park there. Very outdated in rooms. Price is expensive not a five star hotel. Great location but very poor for price.
