We had a wonderful stay; we visited in Sept of 2024. From the moment we checked in, Michelle at the front desk made sure we started to relax and enjoy our stay, and even went above and beyond to get us into our room early since we had a sunset cruise lined up shortly after the usual check in time. Our room was freshly remodeled with a very comfortable bed and pillows, lovely bathroom/shower/vanity area, tastefully decorated and of course the most amazing view, enjoyed while inside or on the balcony while listening to the ocean. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully maintained, the bar with ocean view lovely, and the hotel conveniently located minutes from Black Rock and Whaler’s Village, and an easy short drive to the many other beaches and areas we wanted to visit. We chose self parking bc the structure has plenty of spaces (4 stories) with a bridge to each floor of the hotel/elevator- it was very convenient and easy in and out. It was a great option for us, we missed nothing one might find at larger hotel, and the hospitality was top notch from everyone we encountered during our stay through check out with Helene. We hope to be back!

The best of this hotel is the staff. Everyone is very friendly and warm hearted. They have a culture center that I believe is unique to the hotel. The beach is stunning, the waves are strong. Food is expensive but thats Maui. Tip: Bring ur Beach chairs and Umbrellas! Chris

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Outriggers Ka'anapali Beach Resort!!!!! We were always greeted with a very friendly "Aloha" from each Staff member. We loved our clean and comfortable room. We enjoyed the gorgeous Beach and Pool daily. Maui Brewing Company Restaurant located on the grounds, was delicious!! We enjoyed our weaving class with Koi! The grounds are GORGEOUS- we watched daily sunsets on the lawn in the comfortable lounge chairs provided. We so appreciated the deeply touching Lei ceremony we were honored to be a part of upon our departure. We will always treasure our lei. Thank you Ho'onui! xo This was our first visit to Hawaii and we didn't want to leave. We will be returning here again.

The best hotel and cultural experience workshops in Maui. The cultural team are amazing!!! The hotel and staff are amazing. It’s like visiting a family. The care and pride shows and is worth every penny. I will never visit any other hotel or accommodation again in Hawaii.
We loved this hotel and will stay here again!

Loved this hotel. The property was quiet and clean. We had a refurbished room which was immaculate and nicely decorated, an adequate size for our family. We were given an upgrade as it was our anniversary, from partial ocean to ocean view, which was extremely kind of the staff. The pool is pretty small but the beach is amazing, wide, lovely sand, awesome waves, really close to Black Rock which my sons loved jumping off and we all enjoyed snorkeling near. There's a place to rent beach things such as umbrellas and snorkel gear right at the edge of the property. Beautiful nightly sunsets. Whalers Village is a five minute walk away - this hotel is a perfect location! It's understated compared to those all around it and we loved that. The hotel next door was so CROWDED with people everywhere. And other hotels along the strip just seemed a bit too "fancy" for us, a family of 4 with two teen boys ages 17 and 15. The grounds here are lovely, lots of wide open spaces and grass and pretty trees and flowers. So many chairs to sit on. I loved going out in the morning, getting a coffee at the cafe, and sitting in a chair on the edge of the property by the beach. The staff was warm and welcoming, particularly those who worked in the Cultural Center. We took ukelele lessons one day and also participated in a lei ceremony where we learned about the kukui nut, among other things. One of the individuals took particular interest in speaking to us about where we were from and sharing some of her background, it felt like a nice personal touch. We enjoyed breakfast items from the cafe such as breakfast sandwiches and acai bowls. My husband and I opted to skip the buffet as it was $30/pp and didn't have a ton of selection. Our teens did it one day though and they give it a thumbs up. They love all you can eat buffets! We ate dinner at Maui Brewing Company one night and it was really good! Great atmosphere too. We would absolutely return and stay at this hotel, I truly hope we can someday sooner rather than later. We were very sad to leave.
