Loved this hotel! Was so peaceful for my mom (64) and I (26). It is simple but has everything you need—it doesn’t have the giant water slides & intricate architecture of some of the other hotels on this strip, but that is what makes it so peaceful and relaxing. Our housekeeper Lyn was the cherry on top of a fantastic stay! She left a handwritten note in our room wishing us a happy Thanksgiving. We loved the Maui Brewing staff as well—it is a fantastic place to watch the sunset and taste delicious beers & food!

The Outrigger on Kaanapali Brach was the perfect family vacation for our family. Easy access to the beach, a short walk to Black Rock for cliff jumping and snorkeling, Maui Brewing Company on site and Whalers Village nearby made this an ideal vacation spot. Also, our housekeeper Lyn was so kind and accommodating. She quickly learned our names and kept our rooms clean and stocked with our amenities. Her Aloha smile brightened our stay!

Such an amazing location and the hospitality was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again!!! Staff was exceptional, rooms were lovely, couldn’t ask for more!

The rooms were very nice and clean, except the air conditioner would not shut off. You couldn’t turn it above 70. They said you had to open the doors to shut it off and that didn’t work either. We were cold for five days. We booked a premiere oceanfront room and we got a partial ocean front so be careful! The pool was very old and the grounds were not taken care of very good. Resort didn’t seem very lush and green and not many flowers here. It did have a nice beach. The resort itself didn’t have many restaurants, but you could walk along the beach to others. There is no activities by the pool and no music anywhere. Very laid back. No fitness room either. However, there were nice hammocks on the property. Not much going on at the hotel, except renovations. They kept telling us to go different ways to get to our rooms because of construction and there were no signs telling you where to go. People were getting lost. It was very annoying. The lei making class and hula lessons were fun!

Great experience. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the resort but our time there was very good. Service was friendly. The grounds are very clean. The beach access was beautiful. Our room was comfortable and I had no complaints. We even had an ocean front view. It’s neat how all the resorts are connected by a boardwalk so you can visit other resorts for dinner but Maui Brewing at Outrigger was incredible. Would definitely stay here again.
