Stayed 6 nights to explore Maui. The ocean front room had a great view. There’s a little noise from the walkway along the beach, but just people having fun. Self parking is $25/day. Hotel staff were great and the room was very clean.

We felt that we received a great value. Rooms were recently renovated. Access to Maui Brewery nearby. Want to give a shout out to our housekeeper Irene. She took super care of us and our room.

Formerly known as KBH and now the Outrigger Ka?anapali Beach Resort, this has always been my place of peace. Back in the 1990s, when it was KBH, there was a truly homely, family-like connection with the staff that kept me coming back. After more than 20 visits over the years, the Outrigger team have refreshed and modernized the resort while still preserving that warm spirit-through the incredible housekeeping team who actively engage with visitors. A special thank you to May, my wonderful host—you are truly a gem. After a medical incident that resulted in a stay in ICU, May was there waiting to greet me when I returned. Moments like that are what make guests come back. It makes you feel genuinely cared for, like family away from home. The resort is extremely well kept. Having Maui Brewing Company nearby was very handy during my recovery for easy takeout. The location can’t be beaten, and the beach towel and excursion shack is always efficient. The rooms have been tastefully renovated, especially in the original Aouli wing. One of the things I love most is that, unlike many resorts filled with concrete pools, OKBR embraces nature. The greenery, outstanding gardens, and beautifully groomed plumeria trees reflect the lush beauty of Maui itself. Yes, pricing is getting a little steep, but I’ll be keeping an eye out for sales—because I will definitely be back. Thank you again, May. Room was clean and neat with great views of the water! Nice restaurant on site and lots of helpful staff if we needed anything. Got to experience whale watching, which was amazing! Enjoyed every bit of our stay!

Love the people who work for this Hotel!! Everyone is so incredibly kind! Our room attendant Ginalyn was wonderful! She is so nice and friendly and she did an excellent job with our room every single day! Dora is amazing and kind and does a wonderful job!!! Ron, Joni, RJ, Joel, Jenny the Valet staff are exceptional!!! Malahini and Cori from the cultural center add so much personality and history and knowledge. The entire staff is amazing!!! We love them all and we are grateful to them for making our expierience such a treasure that has turned into a lifetime of magical memories!!!! Thank you always and forever to all of you at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel! You are our Ohana and forever in our hearts!!!
