I had a great experience at Piko Coffee Bar! The drinks and service are amazing. I came for a couple drinks, and my host Faith was super friendly and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond, making my drinks, taking the time to give me information about the ocean life in the area and recommending activities to check out!

This stay was absolutely amazing. After a flight cancelation we returned to the resort for another 4 days and Veronica at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure we had our dream ocean front room with a bedroom, 2 stunning decks (one facing the garden and the main deck ,with a private cabana facing the ocean). As a disabled person, this allowed me to enjoy the resort like I have not been able to in over 25 years since my back was broken. This was an invaluable experience and I have Vernoica at the front desk to thank for it all. What started out as a nightmare (due to sever physical pain from a full day at the airport) was transformed into the stay of a lifetime at the Outrigger resort and spa. All thanks to Veronica! I hope she receives a raise as her care and concern for her job has lead us to becoming members of Outriggers Voyager 47 Club and book only at Outrigger resorts during all our travels. The resort is lucky to have such a valued employee as Veronica. Also the whole of the resort was immaculate. The quality, cleanliness, amenities, & all staff. We really appreciated the professionalism, friendliness and care from housekeeping, restaurants, lifeguards and the groundskeepers and security. All who were a delight and very friendly. This experience showed me that vacationing is still attainable and enjoyable for a person such as myself. Thank you

We recently stayed at the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa for our anniversary, and overall we had a wonderful experience. Our room was excellent, the grounds were beautiful, and the amenities throughout the resort were truly top notch. A special highlight of our trip was the V47 Lounge. Tess and Sharlaine went above and beyond to take care of us—warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Their service made our stay feel extra special. We also want to recognize the valet team. The guys were consistently kind, fast, and incredibly accommodating. They work hard, and we hope all guests appreciate them as much as we did! The luau dinner was another standout—it was absolutely spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The food, the hospitality, and the show itself were all stunning. We highly recommend it. The only area that fell short for us was the Piko restaurant. While the servers were very nice, service was slow at times, and the prices didn’t match the quality—especially the coffee and several of the meals. Additionally, many wines on the wine list were unavailable, which made ordering a bit challenging. We don’t mind paying for great food and service, but the value just wasn’t there. Lastly, we wish guest services were a bit more proactive in addressing disruptive guest behavior. Guests should be able to relax without feeling like they need to intervene. Despite these issues, we truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warmth and hospitality from so many members of the team. With a few improvements, this could easily be a five-star experience.

The outrigger has been amazing, We are on day one and it has already exceeded my expectations! V/24 club is well worth it! I am traveling with family, including 2 kids age 9. Perfect options for lots of appetizers with the chefs special- which is more like a dinner- hands down the best option when traveling with a group. I’ll update after a few days, but, I’m have a feeling this will only get better as we stay! Oh! And the water slide at the pool?!? 10/10 so fun!

We stayed here for 5 nights in a ‘partial oven view’ room. The room was a good size, but the partial ocean view was really a glimpse of the bay above the rooftops. We haven’t stayed here since it was a Sheraton. It looks like Outrigger has modernised the rooms, but otherwise the grounds looked similar. Well kept and on the edge of the lava cliffs, this is a great place to watch sunset from. We love the pools here with the waterslide in the main pool. The gym has ocean views and some very new equipment and is well equipped. We used the pool bar for drinks and the handy holoholo market to buy sandwiches and drinks. The washing machine room was a bonus for us after a long trip. Parking, breakfast and resort fee was included in our package, all very handy as they add up if paying for separately and I like to know my accomodation costs before i book. The breakfast was ok, omlettes cooked on request, but got a bit boring day after day and I’d like some variety. Our room had a musty smell and they quickly sent maintenance staff with deodoriser and to change the A/c filter. Staff were friendly and helpful
