We love the Villas Sol family! We come back every year. The resort is not a big chain monstrosity will all the amenities, but if you're looking for a laid back, family-friendly experience, this is the place for you. Marco and Diego always make our kids feel like they're at a home away from home. We will continue to come back for years to come.

Bartender Orion always served the best drinks and always had a smile and always was willing to help us better our Spanish!Activities staff Byron was amazing! Byron always had a smile on his face no matter where he was always waving and dancing and being the life of the party!!!!! Highly recommend! Music was always the best and was always open to different songs!

We stayed at an AirBNB for 2 weeks (villa 67). Our stay was fantastic, We wish the shuttle was a little more consistent to the higher parts on the resort but that would be the only negative. As for the staff, Benilda and Lesy were amazing always greeted us with big smiles and were always willing to help. These two ladies made our trip more enjoyable and helped us organize some tours and gave us loads of info that helped us out. Thank you for everything we will definitely be back!!

Orian, Konrad, & Verenise were the best people I’ve met here. They were so helpful & understanding & always had a smile on their face. They helped me learn more Spanish, they truly were accommodating & genuine people. They made the experience alone.

There were five of us traveling. My friend has a time share and decided to upgrade it to a 3 bedroom villa to accommodate all of us. It was amazing! We had a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms with showers. It also had a patio with a table and chairs, a hammock, and a small pool. We spent most of our nights enjoying the sunsets there. The property is on the side of a mountain, so sidewalks are at a steep angle. If you tip the shuttle drivers, they will drop you off at your door. The staff was great! The shuttle drivers were so helpful with information about things to do in the area and answered any questions we had about the property. We got to see some wildlife from the property. On the way to the restaurant, we spotted a huge iguana perched in a tree. At the restaurant, the waitress motioned us over to the monkeys hanging out in the trees. We got some great pictures of them. There are cats and raccoons on the property, so whatever you do, don't feed them! Orion, the bartender at the pool/restaurant was great! The food was decent, but could have had more variety. The seafood here was excellent! I was disappointed in the fruit plates. I thought there would be more to choose from. Fresh juices everyday was excellent! The beer was good. Mix drinks were pretty good. The beach was only a 5 minute shuttle ride away. It was beautiful with lounge chairs available. You do have to bring your pool towels. The restaurant behind the beach "La Casita de Mariscos" was amazing! I recommend the shrimp-so fresh and delicious! I would definitely go back again!
