Warm Hospitality & Great Stay, Aloha from Hawaii!

My girlfriend and I visited from Hawaii, and we had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles. The service we received was on top and made all the difference. Vincent and Rigo at valet were incredible. They remembered our names every time we left or returned, and were always kind, helpful, and welcoming. It’s rare to get that level of genuine service, and it really stood out. Lin, the bellman, was also super helpful with our bags and had a friendly, down-to-earth vibe that made us feel right at home. The front desk staff though I didn’t catch their names were very helpful and made our check-in process smooth and easy. That level of service was consistent throughout our stay. One thing to note: the area around the hotel can be a little confusing to navigate when you're trying to check in, especially with the one-way streets and downtown layout. But once you arrive, the lobby is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, and the valet team helps take care of the rest quickly. Our room was modern, quiet, and comfortable great place to recharge after exploring the city. The hotel’s central location made getting around LA super convenient. Overall, we had a great experience. If you're looking for a downtown LA stay with amazing staff and a polished feel, the Sheraton Grand was a great choice. Mahalo to everyone who made us feel at home!

I loved everything about the hotel (i.e clean and spacious rooms, great customer service, clean atmosphere, and awesome hotel bar)! Great walking score to nearby bars and restaurants and The Marriot Bonvoy Platinum perks were also a big plus too. Shoutout to Walter and Ricardo at the Valet too
Great valet parking

Walter in Valet parking was super courteous and helpful. He helped us to figure out the correct barcode to scan at the exit and helped us to load our bags into our car. We appreciated the great service. On another note, I am not verbose enough to extend this review to 200 characters, so maybe TripAdvisor should rethink that policy and value my time more appropriately.

We just wanted to take the time to step in and express our gratitude for the valet attendant , Ricardo. He was very nice and pleasant as we received our car after check out. His friendliness went a long way! Thank you so much for your assistance!
Incompetent/ignorant staff :(

This may be a my fault/their fault situation, however I am so unhappy. I left my retainer in a cup of water on the sink on my checkout day. Unfortunately did not remember until I got home at night and when I called they had not seen it/kept it. This means that a housekeeping staff must have dumped out the water but still seen the two retainers in there and thrown them away. Really--who does not know what a retainer is??? This is a $600 item to replace. I have had them keep a $10 teddy bear for my kid in the past, so this just feels like lack of training to the staff. Ughhhh. I understand this was partially my fault but I know they must have seen it, so it's very upsetting to know the staff just threw it away.
