This review is way over due. A couple friends and I stayed at the Sheraton to attend a convention at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The walk to the convention was very brisk and easy. The hotel also was located near a lot of food spots/cafes so eating was very convenient. The room was superb to what we needed: it was clean, and quiet. Special shoutout to the Valet Team (Walter, David, and Ron): they made every so easy from check ins to us leaving! We were a little nervous about the parking situation but the valet team was amazing and made everything a breeze. They are super friendly and helped with our baggage when we got there and was extra careful with our fragile items. They didn't us feel like a burden at all when we kept forgetting our stuff in the car and they had to fetch it for us. The Valet team made all the price worth it.

We love this hotel. We stay there when we go to Dodger games. The staff is always so superb. We love the lobby, the Hope Street restaurant and bar in the back, and the proximity to the other DTLA restaurants we love. They have always been so good to us. We are coming back on 27 July for our sixth or seventh stay, and are bringing friends. I love to check in and walk to Ralph’s or Whole Foods for some goodies. I do miss the Macys being right there, but that’s obviously out of the Sheraton’s control. There’s still stuff to do in the little square off the hotel. Joey DTLA has a pretty decent happy hour, although we found ourselves parked at the hotel’s Hope Street bar a lot, and really enjoyed their breakfast. We try to travel exclusively at Marriott properties when we can, as we have some status, and this property has exceeded our expectations repeatedly. Can’t wait to go back! For those of you concerned about the parking, my hubby loves to “save a buck” when he can, and I oblige. He parks across the street and walks over. It’s kind of a sketchy parking garage when you go in, but it’s his go-to and we have never had an issue. The reason we found it in the first place was the car we were in (a Ford Expedition) was too tall for the Sheratons parking garage.

In one word, exquisite! We were in DTLA for a concert and decided a one night stay would be a convenient way to end the night as this is within easy walking distance of LA Live. I am so thankful we did. Everything, and I mean everything, was perfect! This trip was meant to be a surprise for my husband and the Sheraton staff went above and beyond to make it happen. A big thank you to Lin from the bell desk and David from Valet, who once they learned it was a surprise, got to work on making sure it stayed that way until I was ready. The room itself was beautiful, clean, spacious and very comfortable. The city view was an added bonus! Thank you for an amazing stay and wonderful memories!

Had a wonderful time staying here for Anime Expo. The shuttle service was right outside, valet was prompt and helpful, and the staff was super accommodating. I didn’t have any noise issues and the room was spacy. We requested a microwave and kettle brought to our room, no extra charge, and all the rooms already have a mini fridge for drinks or small snacks. The daily water bottles were a hugeee help considering how hot the summers get. Ron and David at valet were especially helpful and friendly.

The Sheraton Grand is a great hotel with great service. The rooms were clean and tended to promptly when needed. It also is in the middle of several restaurants so you have easy access to various types of food. Parking is valet only, but the staff there make it easy to retrieve your car if you need it. It's not the cheapest hotel out there, but it has pretty good prices for the location.
