Being my 2nd time at this resort, I would still recommend booking. There will always be room for improvement anywhere you stay but vacations are always what you make of it! For food I recommend, the jerk shack on the beach, Sakura, the Italian restaurant & the steakhouse. Yes, the drinks and food are good but the people here really make it worth it! A huge thank you to Mr. Andre Higgins who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful! A definite asset to the resort. Many many thanks for taking such good care of us! ?? Also, huge shout out to my girls, Teresa and Lackesia at the disco bar! They are so amazing at what they do, not only professionally but relationally. I love them to pieces & I would go back just for them!! To the best bartenders - Thank you for loving us. ?????? Also, big thanks to Schevaugn at the sports bar and Nicholas at the swim up bar who are so fun & make your experience a 10 out of 10. ?? Also let it be noted, the best server that I had for an 8 day stay, on the entire resort was Samora at the steakhouse! She was exceptional! ???? There’s many more I’m sure I missed but honestly, this resort is so much fun! The beach is beautiful, the swim up room is a whole vibe & the people are so amazing. A piece of my heart is still in Jamaica and I cried on the way to the airport. Be back ASAP! ????

We enjoyed our stay at Oceans. The food and customer service were great. Lots of activities and restaurants to choose from. Andre in management was great as well he resolved our problem with a smile.

I knew this trip wouldn't end well, just based on how we were treated while checking in. The hotel has a published 3:00pm check-in time, our room wasn't ready until 5:30ish without apologies nor reasonable explanations. When I asked to speak to management I was referred to Vanessa who offered unaccommodating services (such as champagne, late night room service or a late check-out). None of those were beneficial as it is an all-inclusive hotel. (If I wanted champagne I could get it from the bar, if I wanted to eat at midnight, I could get food from the late-night restaurants and I had to leave the resort at 10am to be at the airport on the day of departure.) When I told her that those options wouldn't suffice , she said that she would call me when she had a reasonable offer, we never heard from her again. The next day, after not receiving a response from Vanessa, I went back to the front desk and asked for the manager. I was told the Manager on Duty was Shanardo Weston. When the front desk representative approached the manager and explained the situation, Mr. Weston openly mocked/grimaced about my situation before realizing that I was standing to his side and I could see and hear everything. Mr. Weston took my phone number and room number and then said that he would call back in two hours or less, never to be heard of again. I tried to continue on with my vacation without letting the lack of quality customer service ruin my trip. I will say that the property is beautiful and the grounds are well manicured. However, the same cannot be said about the rooms... Our room had bugs, a warm refrigerator, the bathroom door wouldn't close and the front door wouldn't close on its own (meaning that you would have to slam it with all of your might). Which caused a disturbance if leaving or entering the room in early morning/late night hours. Based on the service (or lack there of) that I had previously received I figured that complaining would fall on deaf ears, however, we did call someone to come get the bugs as they were crawling on the ceiling and wall. I was traveling with a large party, and there were other instances of delayed check-ins and bug sighting's in other rooms. As well as, delayed or denied customer service responses. I would not recommend this resort... book at your own risk!

When we first arrived we fell in love. Thought this place is huge, this is going to be so wonderful and we can’t wait for the experience. Then came the long wait of checking in. We also arrived by 2:30 and our room was not ready, so that was another wait. We then meet these people that said they were apart of the welcome team and there’s a welcome breakfast to help us with any of our needs for our stay. Cool! We had no idea that was just false statements to try to sell us club. Which the next morning we refused because they wanted to walk us around the whole resort to show us what we could get. Our room was great. The fridge needs work and it did not keep things cold at all. There is no ice machine anymore in hotel. We were greeted by bugs in the am and had to make shift a blanket to cover the opening at the bottom of them door. The non privileged side of the beach is a mess. This is very said because unless you pay extra to be privilege you have to suffer with lots of rocks. The pool area was great. We had lots of fun there with the games and music going on. Drink were rough, we understand all inclusive but sometimes too much alcohol can make the drink undrinkable. The restaurants were ok. We mainly ate at the buffet. The Japanese was great fun, somethin is off about the chicken. Route 66 is not bbq. I got the ribs and they looked like cat ribs very small. The Italian restaurant was ok. I’m banded because I am Italian and it was decent. My food, the ravioli were cold. Seemed frozen and wasn’t cooked long enough. The buffet was hit or miss. The staff was ok pretty friendly but not on top of making sure you had what you needed. Our glasses of water were empty to long. Most tables were wobbly and glasses broke spilling everywhere. On the last day we got privilege to enjoy the good beach and sadly they only different is we get personal water that gets hot anyway, cabana and towels are there already. The beach part looked as if the rocks had been dug up to make it look nicer. The privilege pool was a joke. We had a butler who was quite rude. We were able to order lunch from that area but don’t ask for condiments, I’m still waiting on ketchup lol. They make it sound as each person has an individual butler but no it’s one over worked person. Somehow we managed to have a decent time but we do not ever want to return.

The atmosphere was excellent. The warm reception of the dining room staff was phenomenal. Chef Orain Brown continue to make me smile
