Following American Hotel & Lodging Association's (AHLA) recent announcement of its "Safe Stay Guest Checklist"—and following medical expert guidance to help reduce the spread of COVID-19—all Hyatt hotels in the U.S. and Canada will require face coverings within indoor public areas beginning Monday, July 27, for the foreseeable future.
Public areas may include hotel lobbies, meetings and events spaces, restaurants and bars, and fitness centers. Some guests may be exempt from this mandate, including but not limited to guests with medical conditions, guests consuming food or beverages in restaurants, and children under the age of 2.

Great Disneyland home base for families

This is a great home base for families going to Disneyland. Rooms are clean, big, beds are comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. Margarita was especially helpful down in the breakfast area. She was quick to keep things clean, but also helped me take breakfast upstairs to the rest of the family. We had no issues with our reservation getting cancelled as other reviewers mentioned. This is a good location to either take a 15 minute walk to Disneyland or a 7 minute walk to the Toy Story Parking lot shuttles where you can go through security much quicker than the front entrance. Having Walgreens, Blaze Pizza, Starbucks, Chubby Dumplings right downstairs is such a benefit for quick food or little necessities that pop up. The pool was a little too cold for December, but the hot tub was great!
Cancelled our family's reservation day before check-in

Room was clean, breakfast was great. We were sad my parents reservation was cancelled the day before we were supposed to check in without any notice. No credit was given to compensate for the inconvenience or extra expense of booking a new room the day before check-in. We would have like to stay together in the same hotel. They ended up several blocks away at a different hotel. In the end it worked out fine, however I didn't feel Hyatt House handled the situation very professionally and could have been more helpful.
