Nice Hotel

Purplerooster (Pittsfield, Massachusetts) on Nov 28, 2025

We stayed at the Hard Rock - arrived 11/15/2025 departed 11/18/25 (on the Disney). It's a very nice hotel. The music is played a bit loud in the area of the elevators, but you don't hear it in the hallways and it shuts down at 11pm. We stayed on the Rock Royalty floor (Club Level). The food offered was good, nothing to get excited about, but there was always plenty. The only issue I had was most club levels have a refrigerator out with sodas/water/juices at all hours of the day. When this level shut down at night, they closed the doors and you couldn't get anything to drink. The rooms were nice and we never heard our neighbors. The only problem I had with our room was the bathroom. The have a small area with a nice vanity sink. Then the bathroom/shower is in a separate room. It has a toilet, sink, shower. The sink doesn't need to be in there. It's difficult to shut the door when you walk in and open the door when you want to leave. If the sink wasn't there, it would be fine. When you get off the elevator to your room you walk onto the floor and it's a circle with hallways coming off it. I would always look for the Frank Sinatra picture when I was going back to my room from getting ice, so I went down the correct hall to my room (kind of funny). If you like to go to bed early, ask for a room NOT facing the pool. Although it's not really loud, it starts playing around 9am and doesn't get shut off until close to 11pm. Also, they leave all the lights on around the pool. We couldn't get our curtains to close all the way, so we had that light shining into the room. All of the workers are super friendly and will go out of their way to help you. There were more times I walked into the store or the market, and there was someone right there asking if I needed help. The Kitchen Restaurant, the food is excellent and the waiters are wonderful. It's about a 5-8 minute walk to City Walk and the entrance to Universal Studios, and about a 10-12 minute walk to Islands of Adventure. They also have the water taxi, but that seemed to take forever to come. The do need more people for check in. We stood there for almost 30 minutes waiting to check in. We arrived early (9:30am) and our room wasn't ready until close to 4pm, but they held out bags as we headed off for the park. They did text us when our room was ready. I'd give this hotel a stay if you want to be close to City Walk and the parks. You still need to take a bus to EPIC (about 15 minute ride), but it's a nice hotel.

Express passes are nice, check for charges

K A on Nov 19, 2025

I like the location and the express passes are a huge savings for our family of 5. But. I'm very annoyed at the same thing happening twice: both times I've stayed I've been charged for a bottle of water (10$!!) that I did NOT drink. There was one bottle in the room when we arrived and one bottle when we left. Both stays two years apart I was charged and its annoying because it feels sneaky and unnecessary. It seems like you're just set up to get a hidden charge and for such a high priced hotel it just is one of those little things that seriously bugs. If I was not so careful about checking transactions I wouldn't have noticed it and I feel like that's what they count on. Check your bill, not just the one they email you at check out, which I did, but check your transactions after the fact.

Rocking It At The Hard Rock

nicolakeep1966 (London, United Kingdom) on Nov 15, 2025

Booked through Travel Republic in UK . Check In Smooth much quicker than our last stay here . The 11 nights we had here were perfect. Stayed on 6th Floor in a refurbished room . No complaints. Housekeeping exceptional. All staff very welcoming & helpful . Very polite . Drinks in hotel . Alcoholic beverages on par with London prices but cocktails very good . Emek & Bolios shop downstairs for coffee/soft drinks/snacks . Pizza was good for price & can recommend chicken Caesar wrap . Pool heated only closed 1 day because of inclement weather . Short walk or boat trip over to City Walk & Universal Parks . Express passes included in price & yes we did need them in November. Queues were long in regular . The only negative I can raise which perhaps management could look at is the water provided in rooms . This is 8 dollars per bottle & if it is drunk charged to your room , so guests be aware . Any other premium hotels we have stayed at, it is included in the price . Just a suggestion as we stayed 11 nights . However it did not impact our rating on the hotel . Huge thanks to Marcella for providing a VIP basket on arrival ( strawberry dipped crocs yum ) & also the drinks vouchers for use in The Velvet Bar . Definitely felt like VIPS .Many Thanks

Feels Like Home Every Time!

GChichel (Buenos Aires, Argentina) on Nov 07, 2025

Our stay was truly one of the best we’ve ever experienced. The upgrade to a pool-view room and the delicious welcome treats made everything even more special. The rooms have been recently renovated and look fantastic — fresh, comfortable, and super cozy. The pool is lovely and fun, a great place to relax after the parks. The location couldn’t be better! The hotel is directly connected to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios — just a five-minute beautiful walk or a short, scenic boat ride away. To reach Epic Universe or Volcano Bay, there’s a bus running every 15 minutes, which makes everything so easy. The Express Pass for Islands and Studios is included, letting you skip the lines on every ride as many times as you want, plus early park admission for all four parks. Better impossible! There was a small issue with in-room dining, but the way it was handled was exceptional. Every stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando feels warm, personal, and cared for. The entire team always goes the extra mile to make guests feel valued. Special thanks to Kathryn Rodriguez for for her excellence, kindness and attention to detail, she really makes a difference! Can’t wait to come back in May 2026!

Great!

mrscraigbro159 (Labrador, Australia) on Oct 30, 2025

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hard Rock Orlando, having only stayed at other sister properties in past years this was to be a real treat. I will say the rooms are absolutely brilliant, large & comfortable with all modern amenities having recently completed an upgrade. The staff were also really friendly in assisting us. We didn't use any facilities and chose to spend most of our time in the parks, however we did wander around and thought they were brilliant. My only one gripe is that the bathroom door was difficult to close between the toilet & shower - a downfall I guess of the renovation but it was only a minor gripe and we otherwise had an amazing time. The only reason I couldn't rate it a 5 star, is that I have stayed at 5 star properties and it is not as luxurious - but it is as wonderful. Would definitely stay again.
