Excellent Hotel and super friendly staff! The Palm restaurant was delicious! Theme parks Express Passes are worth the hotel stay. Super Clean Showers and rooms. Beds were so comfortable, went right to sleep!

Run fast and run far

If your choices are: sleep on a street or sleep at this hotel. Pick the street. Rooms smell like mold/mildew. Made me and my sister have medical/breathing issues. We asked to be moved but it’s apparently all throughout the building because we had to stay in a room where we could barely breathe for the entirety of our stay. Manager does not care in the slightest. Actually the one manager is unprofessional and rude to guests (shoutout to Saeed). Rooms are disgusting and dusty. Faucet in our bathtub literally pulled away from the wall every time we turned the water on. Could tell that the room had never had a deep clean because there was dust older than me around the nightstand and a fair amount of the room. They have/allow people to smoke right next to the path for the shuttle to volcano bay, so if you have asthma then you’re pretty much screwed. We have always stayed at Loews hotels, but this is not worth it. It is the most expensive on-site hotel but it has not been updated and is not safe for people with asthma or any breathing condition. It is the closest to universal, but again it isn’t worth it. You can stay cheaper at any other on-site hotel, still get the express pass, and have a safe and healthy environment. Run fast and run far. Pick any other hotel. The only positive thing that I can say is that most of the staff (not the main manager) is amazing, kind, professional, and knowledgeable.

Outstanding, as always

This is the only place we stay when we come to Universal Orlando! Early check in helped us get to the park quickly, the valet parking (including luggage storage) were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel was spotless, rooms were comfortable, and the convenience of being so close to the park is a bonus. We come two to three times a year.

Summer Vacation with Family and Friends

The good: Staff: All staff was friendly and helpful (Especially Cassandra at the Front Desk and Greg at Security (water taxi) After waiting until 4:45 we were given a Horrible room Cassandra turned that around without hesitation! Made our stay extremely pleasant!! Greg was what you want in an employee(considerate, informative, friendly) Loved the pool/slide/volleyball court/we did it all!! Food:Was EXPENSIVE but worth it!! The pool bar restaurant and the marketplace were our favorites! Great food and hours at the marketplace we appreciate coming back from the parks and it was open! Can’t say enough about those perks!! EXPRESS pass gotta have and early entrance!! Made the difference during s VERY crowded week!! Now what could be improved-Room is average nothing special maybe the renovations will be on the rooms That being said, room was clean and sheets were very cozy we were in our room to sleep only weren’t looking for the Ritz so we were happy! Room served our needs The price per night is very Steep but we all thought it was worth every penny well in this case $$$$$$$$$ This was our 2nd stay and would go back without hesitation in the future!! Only hiccup was placed cash on the account on checkout but wasn’t reflected agent charged the credit card took a week to get corrected thank you Carolina and Sayed-agent who made the error needs some additional training!

Totally disappointed - Not a fan after 4 day stay

First of all I've stayed at many resorts and Hotels. For the price you pay this was very disappointing for me. First off our room overlooked a roof with a bright light on roof shining in the window all night. The room itself was mediocre at best. The hallway carpets and room carpets all had old stains on them. The room itself was outdated. Also, their hotel restaurant "the Kitchen" was closed the entire time. There was NO WHERE good to eat and the prices in the market were outrageous! a candy bar and bag of chips tipped the $10 mark. Some of the take out food there was "ok" but again very expensive. The only saving grace and good thing I could say was The Cabana rental (300.00 for day) by the pool included a 50.00 credit and the food was better than inside premises . With that said I would never stay there again. It just is not worth it and I've stayed at All Star and Pop Centuries at Disney World and they are far better and cheaper than this hotel.
