Avalos and Ulises were very friendly, fun and professional at the pool area. They always knew when to check in and when to let guests have their quiet/private time. All the staff at Casa Velas were very good. Great place for couples who are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. The grounds are beautifully manicured and there was always someone making sure the paths and pool area were tidy and clean.

This was our sixth visit to Casa Velas, need I say more? From the moment you walk in you are embraced by the warmth of the staff at this intimate hotel. The rooms are lovely with great amenities. The food is outstanding; all a la cart, no big buffet line ups here. Serenaded at breakfast and dinner with lovely entertainment made it even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for an adult’s only in PV we highly recommend Casa Velas.

Our experience at Casa Velas is always exceptional! We have been back 5 years in a row! The front desk staff are so welcoming and helpful! From the moment you step in to the lobby you are transported away to paradise. And Avalos and Antonio at the pool bar make our stay next level. The moment we sit down on our lounge chairs they are right there with our personal favorite drinks. And Daniel at Emelios is a wonderful server. He remembers us every year and knows exactly what we like! We are already dreaming of our trip back next year!

We have stayed here many times and each experience just gets better. I’ll begin with the warm welcome you will receive upon arriving in this beautiful ethnic Resort. I don’t think we have ever been treated with such respect and kindness,from hotel staff. Miquel the manager, Sarah, Denis, Armando, are in the front lobby at your service for anything you need. They have made reservations for us,exchanged monies, set up cab rides, and even assisted in medical needs. Let’s talk habitation. The many different styles of rooms are very suitable for everyone’s needs. We prefer a large jacuzzi bath tub and let me say they are wonderful after a workout in the five star gym they provide in the Spa area. The housekeeping service is impeccable. You will receive twice a day cleaning. It is so refreshing to come back to your room with fresh towels and bed all made freshly. This is a huge perk if your a clean fanatic as I am. Ok now on to the delicious food at Emiliano’s. The wait staff is so attentive,friendly, and even very funny. We have a ball with all of them, which make each dinning experience even better and enjoyable. the pool staff as well. Avalos Gerrado,Omar, Oskar, Daniel, capt Rigo,Camila Chef Irving all are the reason for such great service and food. Breakfast is such a treat with unbelievable healthy options if you want. Lunch is also very good along with the Pool menu is delish. Now you may also dine at two other options. A sister property and the Tau Beach Club. Two pool areas are available. One large right at the resort which is situated by the golf course. So if you are a golfer you will,love it, the course is amazing. Then the Beach Club is right on the oceanfront. You can lie by the pool there and have Lunch or dinner. It is walkable but they have shuttles always to take you . The property itself is breathtaking , the well kept environment is so relaxing and filled with happiness and peace. There is even a Zen Garden. And if you’re a shopper like we are there are two excellent malls with American and ethnic stores. I always make a trip and come back with lots of goodies. And lastly the surrounding Restaurants in the Puerta Vallarta area are magical, such as La Capella, or Hacienda San Angel. If you want to venture out for a special occasion. Let me end with you won’t be disappointed with your stay at this world renowned resort.

This was our third time staying at this beautiful resort. We had another amazing week and are looking forward to booking again. The staff really sets this place apart for us. All of them seem happy to be working there and go out of their way to make sure we are enjoying our stay. Avalos, Ulices and Antonio down by the pool are exceptional at their jobs. From making unique and special drinks for you to making sure you keep hydrated, they really stood out for us with their amazing care and service. The food was once again really outstanding, as was the meal service staff. The Tao Beach club was fantastic. Enrique was hospitable and friendly. We spotted a few whales and got to watch them release baby sea turtles at sunset just down the beach. Once again, nothing but great things to say about this place, they make you feel like it’s your second home.
