A classic resort with excellent service. The premises are well groomed and the building maintenance is very good. Though some signs of ageing cannot be concealed there is always someone somewhere fixing and painting, The Adult only section was quiet and pleasant. The family portion of the resort is older and shows signs of wear and the restaurants there need a makeover. Three big pools on the property...the family pool is huge and well attended, the Party pool at the Adult only section is great with ongoing activity. The ''Quiet'' pool at the adult section is just that, large, clean, well appointed and beautifully maintained with great staff on board.

Entertainment staff are amazing they work so hard all day and evening to make sure people have a fun filled holiday, the young men and ladies are a credit to the hotel always happy and helpful, hope they get lots of rewards for their relentless hard work

Good food, clean, beautiful pools, acknowledged the staff who work very hard. No venders allowed for n the beach. I’d recommend for couples only.

This was our first experience at an all inclusive resort. It was excellent, from check in to check out. The atmosphere was exactly what I expected, fun, but not crazy. The staff was outstanding. The entertainment was outstanding. Amstar went above and beyond the call of duty by finding and returning my ‘left on transport’ phone. The location was great. Our room was clean with a beautiful view of the pool and Caribbean. Our stay was 100% worth the price I paid. If you want a great time with mature adults Bahia Principe Bouganville is your place!

Beautiful resort! Rooms, pools, shaded beach area were all so wonderful and everything very clean. Buffet has many choices at every meal. Friendly cleaning and wait staff. We ate at the Brazilian restaurant and at the Don Pablo restaurant and both had very good food and friendly service. The palm trees and beautiful landscape will be missed!
