Fantastic property, from the food to the picturesque long Beach to the 3 pools simply outstanding. Friendly staff, rooms are nice but the beds are too firm. The pillows could be more soft and plush. The water looks nice but dark and lots of jellyfish. The al a carte restaurant is very good and the 3 buffets are excellent. Overall a great resort with a casino, on site shopping and Grand Bahia Village as a back drop. Adults Only side we would highly recommend.

Bahia Principe Bougainville is absolutely amazing!! Ten out of ten stars!! My partner and I went for 6 nights and it was an ideal resort to relax, have fun, meet new people, eat delicious food and truly recharge!! The service was great; fast, responsive, friendly and very helpful (special thank you to Ronny, Ruth, Roarling, Mavel, Ruben, Waster, Patricia, Mayelin, Eli and many more that we can't remember! All of the restaurants were awesome with so many options that were fresh and yummy! Room was beautiful with a nice patio and big bathroom!! Both pools were perfect - huge and clean! The entertainment was exceptional!!! Everything was super accessible, friendly, and immaculate!! Absolutely ideal and highly recommend!!!!! The only cons: the beach water is not super clear and we were worried about jellyfish so swam mostly in the pools! Rooms were a bit dated but still really nice! And they made my birthday extra special with a delicious cake, singing, candles, a sign on my door and what was really sweet was how a lot of the staff knew and wished me a happy birthday!!

Everything was amazing, especially the people. The entertainment workers Caramelo and Francis were the best!!

Wow we had an awesome time at this resort! we did 4 of the ala carte restaurants and were very please with the service and food. Three individuals stood out for us at this resort. Mariano and Cristian were two of the best day and evening time motivators and promoters of the resort! Both gave 150% with interaction with the vacationers (guests), the poolside exercises, games and entertainment day and evening! "Mario" the pool side bartender was very personable and knowledgable with the many drinks and variations as requested by the guests. There was a lot of choices at the buffet lunch and supper which made it easy for those who were picky eater, which I can say some of us were. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The rooms were cleaned every day and the fridge stocked! As it was an all adult resort with a quit pool and one with entertainment, they definitely catered to everyone! Oh and we all (those interested) got to watch the Canada-USA Gold Medal Game! Thank you to the staff who helped navigate to the channel! The beautiful beach front was great for exercising and just walking. the staff were always cleaning up any sea grass off the beach, kudos! However, the water was not very clear due to the close proximity of the nearby river. All in all the water was good.

Lovely hotel , lovely grounds . Staff are amazing . Food was lovely . We came from a week at the Riu republic and it was awful Only thing check in wasnt that great , we waited till 4.30pm to get our room but it didn’t ruin our experience . Thank you to Maria from entertainment , such a lovely young lady who shows care and goes above and behind . She’s deserves a bonus or some sort of recognition. Thank you to all the staff and management
