So it wasn’t a great start from when we landed, as mine and my partner’s suitcases got broken into at the airport. We arrived at the hotel and we were welcomed with drinks and our suitcases got taken to our rooms. Rooms were a good size, the jacuzzi didn’t work so we got maintenance involved who sorted out the problem. Food was decent, had a variety everyday. Staff were friendly, but then others had an agenda. Myself and my partner was out the whole day at our excursion and when we came back to our rooms and opened our hand luggage which was security coded, someone had loosened the zip and opened it up. We reported it but nothing was done apart told to fill out a form, which we knew nothing would happen. Food was good. Will not go back again, people are too teef.

Bahia Principe offers all the amenities you could ask for in a luxury stay. From the staff to the rooms, everything is top-notch. That's why my wife and I continue to go back. They make all their guests feel like the most important guests. With activities like beach sports, golf, and nightlife entertainment, you can't go wrong choosing this place for your vacation getaway."

Despite some negative reviews by some I struggled to see the issues others raised. The hotel isn’t brand new so has a few signs of general wear but overall we found the staff to be very welcoming, friendly and eager to please, food in restaurants and buffet was excellent. The beach was kept very clean and although the water isn’t crystal clear due to the river flowing in, it’s clean and a pleasant temperature. If you go the island trips you’ll get a chance to snorkel especially Catalina. Facilities are great with games and a dedicated animation and entertainment team. Would come back for sure.

The hotel, staff, food, drink, rooms, facilities, beach and so on were fantastic and staff were fantastic, helpful and entertaining. Anybody that gave this holiday a poor rating need to get a life. Highly recommend this place. Little dated maybe in rooms but still clean as was the complex. Staff did not stop and always spotless

The Hotel is excellent, the food has shrimp, mussels, prawns, every day, the quality of the drinks is excellent, the entertainment team is very friendly and professional, the rooms are being remodeled and they are much better. The staff from the Management was excellent, we are going to return!!!
