Positively surprised with our experience at the Breathless Resort & Spa at Punta Cana. We stayed 5 nights, which felt just right, and had booked a couple of excusions separately as we were expecting to get bored of staying in. Had we not, we would have been just fine! Get to the pool before 10am if you want to find space to put your towel down - reserving a pool lounge early isn't permitted, though everyone seems to do it. Try to attend the free shows in the evening, they are actually really entertaining! Bring some 1$ bills for tipping, you'll be well looked after.

I really enjoyed all of the staff at Breathless Resort & Spa. The service was amazing and efficient. I specifically want to shoutout Anthony and Felipe. They made my trip extra special with laughter and love. They were both super sweet gentleman who loved their jobs. They both cared so much for me and my family/friends. Thank you again Anthony and Felipe. We hope to visit again soon!

This was our 4th girls trip, however we will look for other options next time. Shows were mediocre and not as fun as before. The dj played a lot of 70s and 80s music. Not our style. Retro and rock show need to be cancelled. Bring back the white and glow party and the afternoon parties at the pool. The entertainment team needs some changes. They were not as fun and engaging as before. This resort was known for fun part atmosphere. Now it’s just average at best! The service at restaurants is excellent. The beach is stunning.

We had an excellent recent stay at Breathless Punta Cana. Our main goal was to relax but also have some fun. The resort property itself is very beautiful with the way they have set up all of the landscaping and architecture. We upgraded to Xhale Club and felt it was well worth it and you get bigger rooms (rooms were good quality) and a personal concierge contact, as well as access to a private pool, lounge and beach bar for members. Our concierge was Willy and he was great as he would send us daily greetings and communications on each day's events and help with any reservations. He also met with us frequently to check how everything was and if needed anything let him know. He was always available and even helped to get me a wireless phone charger on our last day when my phone's charge port got moisture in it and I couldn't use a regular charger. We weren't sure what to expect with the food but found it to be a great variety with restaurant style choices and especially the large variety at Spoon Buffet. As we weren't going to be wowed by the food we didn't have high expectations for this so the quality did surpass our expectations. We had a great Teppanyaki experience at Silk City and Coquette (French was great and so was Culinaria (continental). They also have a cafe on-site that had a great drink selection. I think there could still be some improvement with some of the dishes to add more flavor, but overall many choices and options and good quality is provided. Our main enjoyments were the various pools and the beach and all of them were excellent. The only thing is that you need to try to reserve chairs early here as that is what everyone seems to do. Would definitely recommend this resort to our family and friends!

Room not equivalent to the price we paid for X Hale. Found 2 roaches in our room. The fan had only one speed. On the plus side, the people who worked there were very nice and helpful. The food at breakfast buffet was never hot. The restaurants where we ate were very good.
