The place was beautiful but not very up to date. The food was average and was not authentic. However the pool party was fun and the sister resort Dreams had really good food and service. Breathless needs to update their food menu and their rooms . Staff was great and friendly.

The resort was beautiful as well as the room. In my opinion the entertainment could use some refreshening as well as the party pool music/Dj. My concierge Yimi Ramos Butler was amazing. He assisted us every step of the way with a tour and great conversation about the DR and Breathless Resort and Spa. My experience with Yimi turned my 3 star experience into a 4 star! If you lucky enough to be assigned to Yimi I’m sure your stay will be nothing less than amazing!

Breathless has the friendliest, most attentive staff you are likely to encounter on a resort vacation. They truly treat you like familia. Special thanks to Willy, our host, and Ilana who were standouts, but to all the staff we can't say enough good things about you all. Thank you for three straight years at our happy place. This was a great experience we traveled with about 43 people, friends and family. I would like to thank Yimi Ramos Butler for making our vacation go smoothly and helping out so much more relaxing thanks again for always being there and keeping us updated on the events at Beathless

Breathless was a wonderful resort. My husband and I went for our 10 year wedding anniversary and first trip without kids. Joel was our Xhale club concierge - he was friendly, helpful, available and very communicative. He made sure we felt extra special on our anniversary. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and professional, including Alberto at the freestyle pool bar who makes excellent frozen beverages, and Enrique, Edwin, and many others made everything perfect. The food was very good and plentiful, and the drinks were delicious. We particularly loved Coquette for dinner. We enjoyed the music and parties by the pools, volleyball, and the fire show especially. We would definitely recommend for other couples and adults!
