Another stay at Palace. We enjoyed a lunch at Coral Grill by the beach, our waiter Carlos was very helpful and friendly. Overall the resort staff was amazing. The food at the French Restaurant was good. The food at the buffets was okay, beach was nice, but the seaweed situation was very bad most of our 9 day stay.

This was our 2nd visit to Barcelo maya palace…maybe a step down from our 1st visit but all in all not a bad stay…the sargasso was terrible but not the resort fault so we didn’t get to enjoy our walks on the beach…the room we didn’t get our king bed but the room was fine ac awesome and our maid was amazing…the food all in all was very good for an all inclusive.. The restaurants we reserved was the French which was great the 1st night not the 2nd… The Brazilian it was different then it was 1st time we didn’t opt for the different meat…but it was not bad The Seafood restaurant was pretty good We didn’t go to the Italian… So in closing I would recommend going to this resort but for us maybe wait til Oct when it’s less sargasso

Low value resort! Felt like you were on a party cruise ship on land zero class at this resort! Structured for high school teenagers graduating! Don’t waste your money on a presidential suite! You get zero extra perks unlike other resorts offer!!

It is our third stay at this particular part of Barcelo Grand resort. We simply love it, easy going atmosphere, this time around it was not overwhelmingly full of people, lots of chairs on the beach or pool area, food was delicious both in buffet as well as restaurant. We enjoyed Brasserie, Caribe, Rodizio. The only small minus of the stay had nothing to do with the hotel, it was a Sargassum season and on some days it was a lot of it, but we applaud to the hotel maintenance staff to try to clean the beach areas as fast as they can( it was truck loads of this stuff) but we still enjoyed the sea.

I hate it here! I feel hostage here! They will not refund me! I have been trying to leave since check in. They will not help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get ready to pay out the ass for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Food is not good here!!!!! I hope my review is helping someone else not waste their money and time!
