OUR BEST TRIP EVER, AGAIN AND AGAIN!!! 14 consecutive lovely stays at the wonderful Barcelo Maya Palace and already looking forward to the 15th!!! Our 2026 experience has been one of our best vacation trips ever. Despite the natural forces that brought so many seaweeds through Mexico. But the Barcelo was working night and day to keep their beaches beautiful! Thank you. Our trip was relaxing, charming, fulfilling! This year again, we opted to go down South in the summer, instead of our neighborhood Laurentians, and thanks to the wonderful people at the Barcelo Maya, our 16-year-old son Maxime and ourselves had an unforgettable time! Our son is already doing the countdown for next year! Great food, great entertainment! And amazing service!!! We were treated, like always, as royalty! If your budget allows, it is really worth it to upgrade to the Premium Club, with all of their special perks! Frankly, the top management (the wonderful Mr. Lagoa, Claudia Platas, Moises Campis, Iris…) train their people so well, at the restaurants (Gabriel the wonderful manager, and Stefani, Nadia, Ubel and Pedro, the two Jesus, Betsie, Paula, Victor, Gladys and Diana…), like the magnificent professional dancers and entertainers at the pool side and at night shows (Antonio, Johnny, Edrick, Marylou, Regina and the whole crew…), without forgetting our longtime dear friends Sara (at the Kids Club) and Lupita (at the Colonial). We ate at the Buffet Mirador. Heber Perez and Juan Garcia took care of use. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. And our needs were Met. They were friendly, efficient and hard working. Definitely 5 star service.

Very safe resort especially the Palace where I was 10 days. This is a real five stars. The lunch had a vegan station. At dinner you could ask for a special meal done for you. I really enjoyed swimming with the fish. I had wish they present more the Mexican and the Maya culture in the museum on site. They try so much to make you feel at home that you forget you're in Mexico. Thank you for the kindness of the personal.

Came for a wedding and had the most incredible time staying at Barcelo. Everything was great from the pools, beach, rooms, food and facilities. Jennifer was also very accommodating with aiding with further requirements.

I was celebrating my 10 years visit Barcelo maya palace. Same always I had a great time with all my hard workers. Pool bar Maria Eduardo Perla Honorio Didier and Flavio and Jesus. Lobby bar Modesto Beatriz Carolina Rosa Gabriela.thank you for bar manager Fermin. Only I had a problem with some workers at the buffet restaurant because most of them new. Mauricio and Heber are the best. Gabriel manager is very kind and caring and helpful. My biggest thank you to Angelica Acosta she’s very nice with all of the customers.
